Cassie does not have interval windows. It can theoretically pop anytime from 21 to 24 hours after it's killed. It was not in the last seconds before tod either. There was no sudden change in weather or anything else noticeable that would give an indication that it would pop.

21-24 whenever it feels, no windows unless they are totally different from fafnirs, I've seen it pop like 7 mins before 3 hours is up

Neither of which made it clear how exactly Cassie worked. Admittedly, though, me asking if Cassie popped like Faf should have been worded as "How does Cassie pop?", since I already suspected it wasn't exactly like Faf... which is the reason I asked in the first place.
