No, it's the true...it's far from ignorance. Yes, maybe, he might have swung the tide in the 10 remaining minutes, even though he was draggin already, but I doubt it. He also would've probably made his pk, but unless he replaced Trezegoat in the 5 selected (I doubt it), that wouldn't have changed the outcome.

Seriously, this isn't an owngoal, this isn't Rooney stomping on a guy's nuts and forcing england to play a significant amount of time down a man...it was 10 minutes of OT (the slowest 10 minutes in the game because teams don't want to fuck up) and a PK shootout that he missed. Nothing remotely worth killing France's best soccer player ever. Those 2 headers vs Brazil in '98 means he can do whatever the fuck he wants to do.
