Or SMN/THF to Trick Attack onto pets or Sneak Attack Spirit Taker. I've seen Kuno do SMN/THF, it works really well.

I won't claim if they support him or not, they just have a fairly open way to get currency. As far as I know currency is not lotted and auto-lotted to everyone and you're only allowed to sell currency to LS mates. But I'm not in the shell so I don't know specifics.

I shouldn't be complaining about it though, Tahn getting currency slows down Roman. Roman is gonna beat me to heca+1 so I need to beat him to Mandau. Thanks Tahn!

Each LS has their own way of doing things.

Some HNMLS's focus on getting certain relics that help them kill/tank better.
Other LS's that do Dynamis don't really give two flying fucks what happens to Currency, they just want AF.
Others help those that wanna upgrade help them but spread the currency around to be fair.

Just as with PUP (But Even SMN can close a level 3 chain and has B in their main weapon...) Life belt + sushi is all it takes for me to hit close to 90% (and over if I throw on ecliptic howl, which helps the other melee too) in mamool ja exp.

Currently have 3 merits in staff (Skill 256) so it can only get better

Wow, you must hit for complete shit. 256 skill + sushi + no attack gear + ballad. What is your AR during these parties, 300? At that point you're hitting for 50% of your weapon's dmg rating, and your fTP 1.0 spirit takers will return you a massive 80 mp, so much for mp for blood pacts making up for your crummy damage.

You can't trick onto your avatar. I like the SA because it greatly boosts spirit taker while /war's abilties take much longer and dont boost spirit taker as much. I never steal hate because I usually BP before I do a ws. But this type of thing only works on mobs you can get high dmg spirit takers (EP or less) or else you lose more MP with BP and avatar cost. I can't see anyone meleeing anything harder then that on a smn considering its not a melee job. X)

I earned all my merits on SMN, you fail. As long as you still get easy big chains in Mammool ja, no one gives a shit. Hell, i even subbed THF there once and no one cared. With a pt that needs littel curing, what else is there to do except damage? And with all the things that i've listed 20 times, I can. Merit parties dont need to be 100% optimal.

And Kirin's pole (DMG 60) and my current Dynamis staff (DMG 55 outside dynamis) suffice just fine for damage.

I earned my merits on smn too and I didn't earn it meleeing shit with staves when I could be doing something more useful (Staff merits LAWL), like buffing the melees so they can kill even faster. Next we'll have the inane thought train that somehow big boy here with his relic can outparse the other melees. Wait..no, we already have that, don't we? Didn't I see some tripe about outparseing a DRK?

I'll say it again, relic staff is nice, but it's not only a highly SOLO-ONLY weapon, it's not even a good one unless your mowing down EP's because even fully merited and reliced +1 avatars couldn't keep up with it and your going to pull hate 60% of the time. However if your LS wants to support your own epenis fondling (Because your staff will do -shit- for them), then more power to you.

With fenrir (cheapest effective-in-combat avatar) andrefresh and ballad (backline in the pt in question was me, rdm, brd), I dont really need to rest much if at all (front line all NIN or /NIN so little curing), and on darksday it gets even easier with af2. Really, although not "uber" it's better than it sounds. If I didnt melee in that pt, id essentilaly just be removing some extra damage with almost no benefit to any other aspect of what im doing.

That about sums it up. You're decreasing the potential of 3 frontliners just so you can get ballad and benefit yourself.

I enjoy dicking around with my friends and joking about none sense. If I make a merit party with my friends, I will not deny a friend entry to my leet party simply because he/she is a SMN or BLM.

My gaming experience isn't defined by parser results. I'm sure someone will take that to mean that I don't care about how to play my job or the game ect but I don't think there is anyone that knows me who could deny that I'm good at what I do.

My priorities are just a little different, thats all.

I;ll say it again too, meleeing in that mamool ja party did not comprimise me in any way. I couldnt have been doing something more useful than more damage than I was doing with BPs alone. When you have practically infinite MP, are you still going to just stand there and watch? I hope not. I also like how you're pulling numbers out of your ass.
