Wtf Shark Bite? I pop out 800-1000k DE's without SA or TA regularly, SA and TA hit for 350-450 once a minute. I'm up to having over 90% acc, 622 attack (depending on bard merits) and 9% haste with 10% Triple and 5% Double attack. Thief actually has the capability to DD, unlike a lolmeleerdm or lolmeleesmn.

Last time I checked thief SA, TA, and DE in TP burn all seperately. Only wafik stacks SA because he has relic. That means you get one high dmg spike TA every 2-3 fights, that one TA won't hold off your weapon skill by a whole lot unless the thief wants to sub in a bunch of +enmity and lower his/her TA dmg.

Don't piss off your healer, sub nin.

My idea is you get a lolddpld to come as pld/nin. If they get sanction refresh a monk or drk can /war and the pld can contribute not only in a DD sense but heal as other jobs put out more DD. They'll have 5mp/tick and pld/nin can put out solid numbers to begin with.

Dumb question, but maybe the smn has the HQ staves he needs for now, but decided to dump all his gil into relic, because you can always go back and get HQ staves, relic is like once in a life time thing to get.

You didn't say every single fight, but I still don't see how it is not a legitmate question.

TA in TP burn isn't used to keep hate, it's used to add dmg to the thief. TA isn't going to add much to any hate control, and certainly not enough for your party to get a benefit out of a drk/war as opposed to a drk/nin or even a drk/sam.

Shadows are very important since a single hit from an IT is usually around 250 or so dmg which for an rdm is a good chunk of MP that could be used for something acutally useful.

There is 2 kinds of merit party.

1. Pickup- this is the kind where party leader is totally warranted to be as picky as he wants, he took the initiative to start a party. Call him a dick or w/e, instead of bitching go start your own meripo.

2. Friend/LS- This is the kind of party done between ls events for a short time, often featuring a member whos actually trying to work on their buffer. People are mostly just killing time. This kind of party is what i expect Vipey or w/e his name is was in. Later that night, all these guys he was xping with got a real merit party going.

If he was somehow in the former type, Id be willing to bet it was lvl 73-74 melees in it just desperate for lvl 75.

Bottom line: Claustrum will be good for soloing I guess if a smn can ride the hate line well. But no matter what you tell me, your melee damage is garbage in merit xp, and making a weak merit job even worse than it already is.

I feel bad on Bst/nin when xping with my ls mostly, I have no att buffs, so even tho I have decent dot w/ pet (I try to mix good jugs in with Carrie) I get tp slower, and my Rampage doesnt touch other melee damage. I did 1105 once, had Brd and Cor giving medouble minuet and Fighters/Rogues roll. Another time I got just under 1k. W/o brd and Cor I havent even approached this, topping out at 750ish.

For you, your avatar is costing you mp to stay out and do shittier damage than my pet, your getting tp slow as fuck, your ws is doing shitty damage even at its best. I feel bad as it is subjecting ls members to my weaker damage, and frequently apologize for it. (They are nice and humor me, commenting when I manage to do a decent ws, ignoring my whiffs).

Blm/whm has alot of mp, and access to the Cure spell. How about getting a blm into your group to heal instead of whm or rdm? Hell, give him a claustrum and let him go wild! While your at it make that brd sub nin and pull out his mandau. Every 4-5 mobs youll actually be able to ws, and you might even get a chain 3-4! Seriously give it a rest, noone with any intelligence is fooled.

Less DD output but more tp given to mob = more tp moves = more damage taken?
