I guess i'll post for the 300th time i'm not a "melee SMN."

I did it on a few seperate occasions for fun and to try stuff out. How many times do I need to say this? I play SMN the same way everyone else does (Call my gear gimp if you want im talking about method) most of the time.
so quit talking like its the only thing I ever do.

So which is it? Does race play a part in this or not? You can't have it both ways.

It doesnt play a meaningful part, because I have enough MP to do the job the way everyone else does.

In any party where you invite me, I'm a plain old SMN. Galka tormenting aside, its just like any other. (301st time). If you really believe I said "I'm a melee SMN and I'm proud of it and im the best" Then you twisted the meaning.

Having some fun here and there is not enough to label me such, as it implies it is all I do. which couldnt be further from the truth.
I have countless HNMs under my belt, Did I melee them? No, except one case in which I was instructed to do so. Did I melee Kirin? Did I melee the CoP BCs? Did I melee Dynamis Lord? Did I melee all those assault wins? ? No on all counts.

Haven't seen him as pld/nin vs toa mobs because for some reason his PAL xbox360 version won't work because pol is na (or something) and his computer died lol but he always did well on aura statues, and this is also with str merits and rajas ring, other crap.

My highest melee job is drg 38, can you tell? lol

In my opinion, galka mages are wastes of gear that could be going to someone who could be more efficient overall, whereas on a galka its usually just to bridge a gap, and fuck that.

My PLD doesn't touch ridill warriors, even ones my level. Demyn as a 73 WAR parsed like 38% damage to my 27 as a 71 PLD last exp party I was in. Gear setup is...

Considering that the only real difference between a galka SMN and a SMN of any other race is MP, and I have enough MP to do a perfectly good job when called upon, It is not a waste, or less efficient, or wahtever.

People who put in the time deserve what they get out of it. I put in the time.
Well over a year of twice a week dynamis, only entirely missing it twice ever, A lot of time in sky (though admittedly I have rarely been there recently), hours upon hours of camping Kings, hours upon hours of fighting Tiamat, Cerberus, and others, plust lots of other stuff I havent listed, I've put in the time. I feel I've earned what I've gotten from the LS I am so privaleged to be in. If you think I dont deserve my AF2, or anything else, you can just kiss my ass, because I worked hard for it.

The ability to merit a one handed A+ weapon and equip 2 multi hit A+ weapons at the same time, makes pld/nin more formatible than people think. They have acsess to a lot of DD gear as you can see in Ryko's post.
