And as far as Hagun vs. Relic, when would you ever WS past 200% unless you were forced to. Even during 2hour, Hagun would probably end up being better, considering you'd get a 300%, 300% and a 200% WS.

If the only WS you ever use at 100% is Kaiten, it's gonna be as good or better than 300% yuki/gekko/kasha from ushiki/onimaru/shinsoku. You also get the nice bonus of wielding a weapon that doesn't completely suck for normal melee attacks.

2nd: Kaiten's 2nd element is Fragmentation, yes? 2HR > Gekko (300%) > Kasha (200%) > Kaiten (100% with TP being irrelevant beyond Store TP bonus). I'm pretty sure that's gonna crush Hagun's damage on Yukikaze > Gekko > Kasha for a light chain. Well, maybe not crush... that's a little ambitious...

Ehh I've seen numbers on Dynamis mobs, not very impressive.

It's happened more often than I'd like to, and often enough for me to confirm that SA+WS does NOT go through shadows. I was dual weilding too.


also side note, curious, how much do people normally WS on deco weapons? Yesterday was my 1st sky pt on thief ever, SA+Mercy was doing 1200-1500 normally(double minuet brd, thf/nin , bison steak), sometimes 1k, sometimes 500 when it moved away from SA's face.


Grats on the chick's relic, hope she's happy with it. I too was going for staff but changed my mind , the dagger just drew me in, I don't know why, but I knew it was the right choice (for me). Claustrum is the best melee staff for her, let her be happy . Don't shit on someone's birthday cake.

Thank you for confirming that Wafik, I knew for a fact if you stacked WS with SA, the SA effect of going through shadows did not take effect.

Dynamis mobs are.. err, a little unreliable to test things on, especially Xarcabard late in the run.

I love my 400 dmg WS on DL with Hagun, 126ish STR and 760 attack. I still have a few more things to try before just giving up hope -_-

I'm not sure where this rumor started. I have martial anelace, and did spirit's within at 100 tp for 206 damage. My hp was 1099. Looking at the ws modifier list spirits does 6/32 of your hp at 200% so it sure looks like +100tp and not +50%...

A straight up melee shot stacked with Sneak Attack will penetrate Utsusemi.

SA Shark Bite got owned too, except too two shadows.



I'll look into SA DE later. Perhaps SE ninja nerfed SA WS on utsu/blink, because I know for a fact SA DE was landing as:
