This thread definitely lacks a point. I hadn't read forums for a couple weeks, started this thread from the start and after a few pages realized it was just a gigantic pile of nonsense without much of anything to do with actual relics, its just an aberration.

Tahn is a giant Galka who is upgrading a relic staff despite having gimp as fuck gear (sorry, I believe if you're upgrading a staff you should at LEAST HAVE A SET OF HQ FUCKING STAVES), brags about his 1k mp, and claims he never has to rest when he melees with an avatar out ... IN AN EXP PARTY.

Wafik, Aurik, and many of the other number crunchers have proven that's statistically impossible. And taken him to town on his fallacies.

(as for me, I'm upgrading a relic staff but I'm not nearly as gimp as him - my BLM only has NQ pants because 2m for Mahatma or 15k for errant... yeah atm I'll take the errant since all I use BLM for is Dynamis. my SMN gear kicks the shit out of his and so does my mp pool.)

for the 678th time there's no point in wasting gil on gear that's not needed. You gear doesnt blow mine out of the water, as there is very little that can be improved upon that isnt situational (and I now have a hierarch belt (so thats one less place.)

I avoid using absolutes. said RARELY not NEVER. And my MP is a lot for my race/job, so why not brag about it? I dont give you crap when you break X dmg on your MB or when you get your +XX INT.

Name what you have that is sooo much better than the AF2 (and no, yy robe and austere/penance do not blow af2 out of the water).
Name what you have that is sooo much better than my rings (all use evokers, Tamas or whichever one its called), just offers 5 more MP, big fucking deal)
Name what you have that is sooo much better than a blue cape +1
Name what you ahve that is sooo much better than a loquacious earring and insomnia earring (Magnetic might be nice but its not a massive difference)

You can beat my neck easily, but i'm still clinging to them changing summoning skill like they said they wanted to.

There aren't a lot of spots where you can do better, so give it up on trying to sound like you have better gear, and I dont give a flying f*ck about your HQ ice staff and fire staff. Those avatars only ever come out for their 2hours which it doesnt have an effect on.

Tahn prolly has better melee gear than other summoners. He also bought the Heirarch belt, and that's an elite piece of equipment there.

I leveled with Galka WHMs that think they could tank because they are Galka, doesn't surprise me one bit that a Galka SMN thinks he could melee.
