What's sad is nobody is gonna even really care about italy winning the world cup except people that are in italy. All the headlines tomorrow in europe are gonna be about zidane... sucks for italy :/.

I dont know about anyone else, but my friends and I were watching the
game and when we saw that we all just literally rolled on the floor laughing for about 5 minutes... just the way he did it and I mean a head butt? Why not punch the guy? It just looked so damn hilarious... the bald head of Zinedine Zidane, one of soccer's legends playing his LAST GAME in the LAST 10 MINUTES, just out of fucking NOWHERE looks Materazzi in the face and head butt's him square in the chest... just LOL! But to see Zidane's exit from soccer like that is utterly disgusting... great player he was.

Anyways, my commentaries on the game: Italy played well in the first half, the goal by materazzi really brought their spirits up because they looked grim for awhile after that PK (which was a horrible call). Italy was all over the ball the first half but couldn't make anything out of it sadly. 2nd half they played like a bunch of retards, they literally passed the ball right to the french and relied on their defense to stop all the french attacks. They had some close calls but thanks to Cannavaro and Buffon they were able to scrape by into overtime. So first OT, nothing special. 2n d OT that happens and just... lol. Italy has about 12 minutes to score with france short manned and they dont do anything... which I'm not surprised about, i'm sure they were just in total awe of what happened (I actually thought I was dreaming when I first saw it). PK time (which is the absolute worst way to decide a game because its total horse shit, but FIFA rules so whatever) Barthez is shit on a stick when it comes to goaltending 1v1, Buffon isn't a goalie for that type of situation, while he is the best goalie in the world, PKs are and always will be about luck (Pick a side and go with it). Trezegoat or whatever the fuck his name is that missed it probably feels like shit right now. Overall I am totally shocked that france didnt put it away earlier, they got pretty sloppy they couldn't finish a play for nothing. That game was all cannavaro and the rest of the italian D. Italy's perseverance and determination to win was more than France it seems.

That's where you are really wrong. There was alot of drama in the Italian soccer, because some people (politicians, and important soccer players) cheated, bought matches, etc. The drama stoped for the World cup, and now its over, their drama will come back. So atm, monday morning, Italy is in deep sh-t.

All this Zidane headbutt made me lmao irl, especially the Street Fighter one. This final sucked.

oh trust me, I am a big fan of italian soccer so I know all about the drama, but things like this usually bring a nation together. It's hard to say what's going to happen but for the moment I am just happy for my country. Fuck anyone who says they dont deserve it, they are the world champions for the next 4 years and no one can say otherwise.

No it sucked because it was decided by PK. Hell, I had lots more fun watching Germany vs Portugal than this. But the Zidane drama really made my day tho, so yea

Decided with PK should've been in France's favour since Italy aren't good at PKs, you're saying the PKs sucked cause you STILL got owned by Italy on them.
