Instead of a aoe instakill ability, just give him something like Draw-Out, the opposite of Draw-In, to warp people away from him (like to the beginning of aery, like someone suggested). Then the flee bots can rush up for the claim.

It may just be me, but I find it somewhat gay that you can sleep one of the harder NMs in the game for fairly solid amounts of time. Don't think it would clear out the Aery to remove Faf/Nid sleep resistance, but when windows overlap, it would be difficult to hold an unsleepable Fafnir w/ limited people...although people would probably just opt for Fafnir over the others.

I like the Darters aggroing idea, bound to add more drama to the forums.

only way to make aery get rmpty is to make similar items that are easier to get, or just introduce those drop onto KSNM99, :D

They need to change the graphic of the ridill. I'm tired of seeing people use seiryu swords to make it look like they have a ridill.

As for the topic at hand, I agree with the other posts on giving alternative NMs with it in the loot table.

i just got my seiryu's sword. its sexy. i like wearing it. i think it's also the best base dmg sword for ranger but ive never really paid attention. i wear it with my merc kris, hell i dont think i ever wear my real weapons, 2 axes/staff gets boring.

everytime i see a thread on any board about DA/BD/SV being to crowded or the items being to rare or about how the king drops should be put into KS99 it makes me think one thing

like cmon give me a fucking break, i never expected to get a ridill, at least not in the time period that i got it (8am fafnir hiya ppl inline not online), but everyone DOESNT NEED a ridill. you can do your job just fine without a ridill AND without a defending ring. Sure these items are really nice and fun toys buts that all they are.

they were never inteneded to be items that everyone will have. So how about this... drop the fucking idea that these items will ever be moved to another source BECAUSE THEY WONT BE

except you would have to call for help on it for aoe to hit people not in your alliance...hell i'm not even sure if just calling for help would let people not fighting a mob get hit by aoe anymore
