Do Cure Clogs effect recasting time? Merits too? (Just curious)Originally Posted by Xiona

And 101% agreed. No stat or boost or anything can compare to curing people 40% quicker.Originally Posted by Xiona
Rofl russta that's awesome.
Absolutely. Those two alone make you as fast as a full fast-cast red mage. Too hot.Originally Posted by Russta

I'm kind of surprised it took someone this much time to mention Cure Clogs.Originally Posted by Xiona
If you really want to get fancy, you can macro in Cure Clogs for the beginning of the spell, and Blessed +1 for the end. It's a great way to really really piss off RDMs trying to refresh you.
protip: there are very few situations where cure clogs are necessary
Word. If that 15% cast time is the difference between life and death, you probably have bigger problems than needing to be the first whm in the log.Originally Posted by Mifaco
hi2u kiting, cure cast time is awesome.
Tossing a DRG on an HNM usually wont kill you, if it would your ls sucks, but that doesnt mean you should do it.
Cure clogs are good shit.
Not if you have a blu/whm.Originally Posted by aurik

Doesn't work though, unless you have a /wait 1 in between the /equip and the /ma line.Originally Posted by Sykes
Thank SE lag for that one. Cure Clogs suck unless you're just leaving them equipped and then giving up the other benefits.
I prefer <stpc> macros just as a matter of personal preference (I'd use them regardless of whether or not I was using equip change on feet) ... I use something like ...
/equip feet "Cure Clogs"
/ma "Cure V" <stpc>
/wait 1
/equip feet "Blah"
The delay from using <st> is more than enough. Still not sure if it is really worth it, but I'm too lazy to change my macros now.![]()
And yet people diss Gaiters, probably the best piece of gear for a WHM to wear while curing kiting tanks.Originally Posted by aurik
Yes I know, there's ways to cut the tank's path off and catch him close enough, but when you have PLDs in Crimson, or NINs w/ 25%, its really hard to catch up with a tank that cant stop running.
is true, yes it would be enough.Originally Posted by Sykes

Last Vrtra we had 1 WHM. Its alot harder then it looks to keep up, especially since one cast of a spell can put you WAY behind a tank.Originally Posted by Xiona
protip 2: A naked WHM isn't a hell of a lot different then one with perfect gear. Better in fact than the taru whm in full zenith that go ass up on the first AE.Originally Posted by Mifaco
And cureclogs ftw.
No, and not sure.Originally Posted by Jeryhn
