Thanks for the testing Tonko.
Couple more questions, 5 blms cast ga-II on it and you charm then release. Heals up to full and someone engages, does it store ga-II's? BLM/BST suddenly became the best mpker in these zones!

I'll bring a BLM friend out after Limbus tonight and we'll play with them. I'll make another post then.
Hmm, I did some testing tonight, very interesting
Thundaga III on a Colibri + failed charm = one shot when it cast Thundaga III back on me
Stone on the same Colibri I cast Thundaga III on before + failed charm = One shot again by Thundaga III
Sent a different colibri in against the one that I previously cast Thundaga III on and... it cast Thundagag III again
so I wonder if it will just keep casting Thundagag III over and over again until someone kills it. I feel for the poor BST who tries to xp in this camp and eats a Thundaga III for lunch
More testing, sent a leech against the bird and it cast thundaga III >> Stone and after that wouldn't cast any more, and it's mouth closed. So Thundaga III >>> Charm >>> Blizzaga III >> Charm >>> Firaga III >>> Charm >>> Aeroga III >>> Charm >>> Release would last forever because who is going to live through all of that, that mob would take forever to be killed. Unless someone charms it and releases it outside of spawn radius. Be funny to watch until they figured it out though :D
I'd love it if you could do Flare > Charm > Sic on a Colobri or w/e > Insta flare. :D
If that pong trick works, you could flare > charm > release > sleep, then go charm another one and engage it, the flare bounces a couple times and the one you hit originally goes down.
Except the initial Colibri (the one you have sleeping), would cast Flare first after being engaged, and if the "pong theory" repeats itself, the 2nd Colibri (the one charmed), would die first, since having Flare casted on first.Originally Posted by Charla
Either way it would be a fun show :O
Charmed Colibris dont reflect (and dont store spells cast on them during being charmed).
Just imagine being a bugtester for these damn birds.
Ouch.
Ouch! My given GM character with invincible on and no experience points loss just took a Thundaga III for no damage, ouch!
Damn it maxx, shut up. You just like saying a lot of dumb shit.

You can also use charm and lullaby to keep a monster at bay back and forth (interchanging songs). I used virelai at the last Ouryu fight we did Saturday night, and it actually works very well on the Worms that aggro from behind. Just keep them charmed, and slept while you go about your songs, and they will only target the bard with attacks. (you just have to watch out when its charmed, if you have a slept elemental near, it will attack that elemental, lol- so your rdm's that are sleeping ele's will get upset that their elementals won't stay asleep.)
