Metal Chip - Temenos info please.

I'll still be nice and answer this :

1. How big are the levels? About the same as the other central temenos'?

Same areas as the Proto bosses i believe. For Apollyon i'm sure, for Temenos it's pretty big and i don't remember it well since it has been the first week it was released.

2. About how many mobs are there? Or, how many has anyone personally seen die(not counting RR)?

Seen at least 15 Aerns in the Temenos one and didn't explore it entirely. Seen about 7-8 mobs pop from each beastman god in Apollyon.

Maybe the farming thing SE said was that these areas may hold ways to get infinite repops and have you clear as many as you can in the time allowed, that is only speculation though. I don't see how it could grant more than 150 coins in the Apollyon one without this.

I've only done Apollyon, I've heard Temenos is really hard. Apollyon is quite easy, you start in Proto-Omega's area. There's 3 groups of beastmen and you have 15 minutes. Each group of beastmen is like 3 minions and a boss, and everything has shared hate. Killing all the minions causes him to repop them all. so you kill all but 1 and keep everything slept. After there's 1 minion + boss, you kill boss, then other minion.

Every 5 minutes a second group of beastmen will atuomatically aggro and come running after you. I think you get a short TE for killing each beastman boss. Yags, Orcs, and Quadavs only, in theory after you kill all 3 you win. It's not hard and if you know what to expect going in you can do it no problem. We almost won even with some mishaps.

Did you guys obtain the Metal Chips via chests recently? My LS has done over 40 Limbus runs without seeing one. We got one on like the first day of the update, and never saw it again. Seems a lot of people got them then, too. Did they nerf it or something, or does it only drop from a specific Limbus?

My NW trio manaburn got 2 or 3 metal chip in like 10 run recently. I know it dropped for someone else too

I got a Metal Chip the very first night they were put in the game. And 1 just the other week.. lol @ the droprate (2 runs a week). Anyways, we went in so overprepared; we heard the Aern one was hard so we did the Beastmen one knowing nothing about it and masicered it (lol, so easy). Was done in under 10mins. Scored under 60 coins (lol). Found out later the NMs repop there minions, so if you decide to do that one, kill everything except the last NM, hold him and kill his repops until time just about runs out then kill him and pop chest.

There are runs you can score 8-12 coins at and unless these runs provide 200 coins I agree, it hardly seems worth it.

The Aern one has waaaay more coins. When we went in with 12, if you took what we killed, and used it as a reference point and applied it to the total number of Aerns in the zone, you could get at least 150+. That's not including whatever Temenos Ghrah and the Armory Crate drop.

Yeah drop rate on Metal Chip seems to be lame as hell. As everyone did, we got one the very first run we did after it was released, with 2 runs a week since then (including multiple runs with multiple teams each time) and we got out second Metal Chip yesterday in SW Apollyon. I was even wondering if they gave it as a present to try it the first week and removed them from chests to have you buy them.

Don't forget, just like Metal Chip occasionally drops from the Armory Crate in the regular Temenos/apollyon, it's possible that something else "rarely" (hopefully not quite as rarely, lol) drops from the Metal Chip route. What if it's "possible" to get Ultima/Omega chips? There's no way to know unless people keep doing them multiple times, but on the other hand I'm not sure I want to be the one to try it

It's obvious that Cop and RoZ weren't meant to be kept seperate, considering how many things for CoP require Zilart missions completed. That wasn't my point. It was already stated in the patch notes that since Maat "doesnt have any expierence with ToAU jobs", a new way for BLU/PUP/COR limit break had to be found. In addition, they're making new ways for them to obtain AF instead of adding them to coffers back in the mainland zones. Those are two clear indications, I think, that they have no intention to link ToAU to the previous 2 expansions, as so far as the 3 new jobs are concerned.

I did read the 2nd page, and I never said anything was 100%, merely pointed out that since so few people have attempted/competed this zone, the possibility remains for something worthwhile like ultima/omega drops to be found there.
