Hydra Corps were named because it was a multi-nation(like multiple heads on a hydra LAWL) operation. It's obvious they wouldn't base it's name on a Hydra unless it existed in legend of some sort. Max, just shut up, you are dumb, you talking is like a blind man telling someone how the sky looks.

And it seems it's size was slightly exagerated if it isn't that big compared to a normal wyrm.

Agreed, they need to make this guy like oldschool FF where you can target different parts of a boss. You can choose which head to nuke, or -ga them all!

Ive heard in the .Dats it shows the left and right heads dieing off and then growing back so im assuming you can target each head. Dont know if the head growing back thing is true though, if someone could check it would be nice.

That'd be pretty goddamn hardcore, and also really cool if you had to fight/tank/kill each head separately. Somebody mentioned this maybe being the empress. I've been thinking the empress can't possibly end up being benevolent, in a kingdom of snakes, with a 2 headed old serpent king of legend, a kind queen just wouldn't make sense. Hydra was a multi headed snake, well, all of the Al Zahbi besieged generals are "Serpent" generals, we had the serpent king, and this is final fantasy, where no government/church force is ever benevolent.
