I think a THF running all the way to Ranguemont gives you 10-12 minutes to kill Angra, but I don't remember exact time, I usually voke Angra off the THF then just go afk eating his debuffs until everyone is told to engageOriginally Posted by Raineer

Easily hit every time extension, wonder if we could manage a win though?
While doing Glacier for Hydras, we split to 2 groups, 1 for timers, 1 for Hydras.
The timer group was about 14 people, we split at the Yag NM spot with the goblin ramp up to the north. After that we managed to push our way through all the way to NM pond and still have over an hour.
I think a group of 15ish could win easily if they pull the Mega properly
Small Number Dynamis imo is much more rewarding. I wish I would of done private ls dynamis insted of opened, but too late now seeing we already have point system set up etc.
Anyways if nora is smart about it they will become a much stronger shell, no reason to go in much detail here though.
Nora has a lot of members with dynamis lord title / even raka that was 1 time trutle sack I am pretty sure. So nora should have np with ice dynamis through all the past experince the majority of nora members have.
Either way bob you should have nothing to worry about. My dynamis ls has been latelly doing 20-30 member dynamis and normally enter with like 24ish and get to 30 by flag time. I enjoy it much more and imo things can even go smoother. Dynamis lord can be won with as few as 25 accounts of well equiped members / smart people.
Point is smart move doing Private ls dynamis if done right can be huge rewards for ls, and imo this thread seems to be more to brag than really ask for help since theres much evidence nora shouldn't need help but that's my take on it.
Closing with good luck on ice etc.
What I wanna see is strats for being DL with 18 people.
x3rdm/drk x15drk w/kraken?
we had a drk with kraken get soul voice songs, etc. and engage angra mainyu solo once just to see what it would do. i beleive his first combat round did 9% of it's HP >_>
I don't know what the lowest my ls has cleared windurst with but we dont use sac pulls in that zone (or any zone except.. jeuno i think) and just pull everything, 7 smns at once is fun and so is the death house.
DL with 18 wouldn't be that bad. Now my linkshell has almost 15 Kraken club, and we got 6 people with DRK75. Go take 6 DRK to Cerberus with Kraken and kill it in 45 seconds, lol.
we killed DL with like 35 and a bunch of those were duel boxed
zerg linkshell ;l
You can kill Dynamis Lord using a Kite and Bio/Nuke strategy which, when done properly, completely removes any chance of wiping. It just takes a really long time.
We've never tried it but I recall reading this on a forum somewhere. It seems pretty doable IMO. The terrain over there likely has some pretty exploitable Mob Pathing, with plenty of ledges for BLMs to nuke from unharmed.
Using terrain was probably the original intention of the design crew. However, since they made him stunnable, it's a lot safer to just kill him in 60 seconds and chainspell stun.Originally Posted by Faranim

Too bad he's going to build magic resistance now!
I can see it now, halfway through chainspell stun, it just stops working...
His mirror images can appear on the other side though.Originally Posted by Dezzimal
I think kiting is doable, but nowhere near "completely removes any chance of wiping."
if you can kite Fafnir, you can kite DL.
I'd say he's more like Vrtra than Fafnir.
- Summons pets with linked hate
- Casts spells
- Has dangerous TP moves that inflict Status Downs
- Nobody can really report if Smash is a flail type of move from many directions.
Managed to pull of Beauca easily with 19, thanks for the Angra tips. Pukis took over 15min to come back, we were long gone by the time they returned, except for one NIN who was curious as to how long it took :P
45min after to farm as well, got MNK, RDM, and NIN bodies too :P
Lacked Bard. I wanted to drop it for storage for the third time.
I'm more itnrigued about this 18 man DL strategies, are there any videos, or documentation about shells which have done this floating around? Would be nice to read farther into it.
