You might have seen this on my LJ a while back Russta, but this is a conversation I had with a GM a while back, when I had a problem handing in the items for last Mog safe upgrade or something like that.

I had the quest in my log, I had the items, yet no matter when I traded the items to the mog, he wouldn't accept them (nothing happened).

The important thing isn't about the actual quest/bug or anything, but read the circled text on the screen...

Slightly off topic but:

Dont have a pic of it because lolPs2, but the JP vs NA rivalry on Kujata is pretty tense (Laxis is known to be very racist, almost as bad as that Micken guy). So about 2 weeks ago, JP get the claim, a guy in a NA ls goes onto a mule and starts mpking and almost instantly he is sent jail. (Was within 5min.) The next day the same NA ls claims fafnir and this time the JP start mpking, and they even are talking about it in say. (Was something to the extent of "<NA ls> better get ready! and stuff like that.) Laxis had even asked leaders of other NA linkshells to start mpking them too. Naturally a GM is called and and as most of you can already guess, comes like 2 hours later and says the we will investigate crap. Normally this isn't surprising but somehow people found out that some of the JP know a GM irl and have him looking over specific people so he can jail them instantly and that they can get help or assitance a lot faster then anyone else. It just furthers the point that JP can get away with almost anything and get special treatment

I know of past instances myself (such as a GM telling someone to delete his account because he got stuck in sky)

It was my shellmate that was stuck in that incident and the GM was Wtnite, who has another gem to contribute to everyone's Vana'diel experience:

As for Spynner, he seems pretty genuine. I'm glad he's at least making an attempt to understand the game he's moderating. He's supplementing his lack of knowledge instead of trying to hide it.
