Croco's Guide to getting Guru Status on Allakhazam

This thread has some merit to it. I decided to check out alla's (I'm guilty of reading it on and off) general ffxi section, and the first post was by Xylia lol.

If you look under skills Xylia has level 60 Clothcraft also.

I lol'ed pretty hard at the OP, especially the constant bashing of Clothcrafting. Maybe it's just because I used to post there before though. (mainly on the THF & WAR forums.)

Just as I was about to move, a PLD75/WAR37 zoned right beside me. He put on Sneak, and since he was doing so, I thought I had time so as well. Sure enough, Sneak went through without magic detect. I asked him if he could take me to the Hall of the Gods... he did a /shocked and said "Ok". Then, we were off. Passing countless numbers of Weapons, and meeting up with a few Cursed Puppets. About 40 seconds in, his Sneak wore off. So we found a -- rare -- safe spot and he re-cast... mine was still doing fine.

Don't forget he also posted other guides such as Alchemy 1-60 and I know he had a couple others and got alot of rate-ups. Alla is hilarious, if you made a post bashing HNMls's you are considered great, if you post a "how-to-do-something-simple-but-I'm-telling-you-lazy-fucks-how-is-done" guide, you are considered a sage...and this is what SE looks at when they want to know what the playerbase wants/needs from the game..go figure

No one on Allakhazam does any craft but Clothcraft, but writing a clothcraft guide on allakhazam makes you their fucking god. They'd suck your dick all day and night for how to level Clothcraft from 55 to 56.

What ever happened to the good'ol Great Sword weilding Pld DD?

Sure Pld/nin is neat and all but as /war with a great sword you get to keep berserk, double attack, and warcry. And you get a friken big sword.

Think outside the box alittle people! :D


its not that hard to make a B skill in great sword worth while. Also Pld dont get all of those pld only great swords just for show.


Hmm. Maybe even try /thf and SATA Spinning slash. Sure you wont do as much as a drk but I bet you could still break 1000 dmg.
