I'm never posted on Alla and I've never been a noob. From day 1, I knew exactly what to do in FFXI, at least what to do at level 10. I was 'never like that'.

I was total and complete noob at least until 35 (somehow I knew not to melee though, OMG A RDM WITH A WAND!), but I didn't talk shit to high levels like "omg you can't beat dynamis lurd he iz invinsibull" and "no place in the game can get 10k/hour, you're lying!"

I just shut the fuck up and learned, they need to learn that lesson too.

I was a sword/shield WAR. Actually I was a beestinger THF 1st then gave up at 12. Then sword/shield WAR. When somebody suggested axe and gaxe i tried it and said LOL NO IM NOT DOING MUCH DAMAGE. This persisted until I hit 30 and decided to become a PLD. But a friend was becoming a PLD. So I went DRK and loved it.

I wanted to be a RDM/SMN
However, upon learning you needed to be 60+ to get the avatars (pre the mini-fork battles, obviously) I decided to get RDM to 60 to fight them before leveling SMN, then by I was 60 I was like "fuck it, RDM is pretty fun" and stuck with it
