Also if the protien would decay over time, from day one? Would you lose data slowly from the day you load it on there randomly? I dunno, seems like a good idea.
Part of the problem with magnetic media is also how to write / retreive it.
Its a major step forward if they can fit that much information into such a small space, but is ultimately worthless if they cant build a device with fine enough motions to take advantage of it.

It's prolly fragile as hell lol, Goldfish is right tho, they need a machine to manipulate the DVDs, and I can just imagine the wait time lol. 50 Teras is massive.
