Yeah, Ruiner of Worlds seems about right. I got fed up with them flying around the Princes, so I tried to pull one. Double the HP of a Prince. Sleep? Didn't feel like sticking half the time. Gravity? Didn't seem to care since they fly at the speed of light. But I can outrun them with Gaiters at least. No wait, all that does is let it pick up a ton of buddies along the way so they can take turns doing unmentionable things to my fragile Taru self.

How these slow moving bundles of XP and seals that are just waiting for a BLM to come along and freely nuke them as they calmly stroll towards you turn into these assholes whose sole purpose is to hunt you down and completely destroy you is beyond me.

This is my strat...

Minuet x2 at the start before engage.
Engage the puk.
Horde the first set of pops.
Cast CHR etudes on yourself.
Sleep the next set of pops.
Cast CHR etudes on yourself.
Sleep again if you're team isn't fast enough, other wise win!

I haven't been resisted yet doign this.

Our set up was..

PLD, WAR, MNK, SMN, WHM, BRD

I bet any decent set up with a smart bard can win np.

I was never resisted once, you dont need CHR etudes. You can sing a song in between every TP move, sometimes 2 songs. The only time you really need to be on watch and not perform any actions except horde lullaby is during wind weather, when he will use back to back TP moves, often summoning his shadows after another TP move when you think you are safe - I assume he has TP regen in wind weather like erucas and sea puks in their own weathers.

If it isnt wind weather, you can basically do 2 songs in between every one of his tp moves. BRD can go /RDM and use latent gear so the tank takes even less hits.

Go up to Mount Z. and where you used to be able to safely solo Wamoura Princes (the cockroaches full of yummy exp and seals for solo blms) there are now the Wamouras as well (the flying off-white ones that have taru blm death stains all over them)...as they been described, can't kite them for shit, can't reliably sleep them, and is very very hard to just solo them, SE took a huge dump on blms with not only the magic shit, but taking away our best solo spot from us

I'm really curious as to why they keep doing that, honestly. First they nerfed the Sea manaburn, and now this. It's not like we are obtaining imbalanced amounts of XP/hr, TPburn parties gain just as much as the Sea manaburn did, if not more....

It's all well and good directing the Black Mages to Ebony Puddings but remember there are only ten of them. Even on fight minute timers, the amount of Black Mages I've seen there at once before has been vast.

Oh and with the advent of the new merits, regular parties like to go fight them now too.

Yeah with more than 2 pairs/trios of blms the puddings can expire quite rapidly, and the really sad warrios who are scared of trolls, mamools, puks, etc, and have to come up and fight vt flans are a nuisance when they do pop up, but so far there's only been one time the pudding area was so congested that we went through the mountain to princes and dahaks.

The only option is to go solo or duo/trio

Um... they didn't nerf killing princes. I solo'd a very good buffer there recently. If one pops, avoid it, you can even solo them.
