Besieged Hell

I nuke full HP flans for shit in besieged too. I don't think they, or any mob, starts out ready to take full magic damage since the mighty blm nerf (not this update one that doesn't do anything, the besieged one)

This sounds consistent with what I've seen, and far more likely than either Super-Amplification or me getting some super-rare event to occur. I know that I for one will be hitting up the next besieged to try some stuff out, stupid things like spamming dispel on mobs 5 or 6 times and trying AM2s to test the elemental defense weaking.

Got the beatdown by 500+ people in Besieged, and died pretty slowly.

The Trolls just gone done attacking on Bahamut. They brought along Vorjirzur the Valiant(PLD), Vyurvarjur the Nimble(WAR), and Gurfurlur the Menacing(idkwtfjob).

So, I see this crazy new NM with this crazy new model everyone thought was going to be the Beastman Kings- and being stuck on BLM what do I do? I cast Bio2, Stun, and run :D

Resisted Bio2: uh-what
So basically, this guy absorbs all magic damage and all debuffs resist (didnt try slow, paralyze but I'd assume).
Obviously, whenever he did Arcane Stomp the message came up "Gurfurlur the Menacing is Magic Shield." Never got him below 99%- Besieged ended with him at 100%

Beseiged didn't end on its own..

Lamia #9 was up with a bunch of elementals and so was Medusa.. yes those two NMs were raping people left and right the whole time but we figuerd beseiged would end without us having to kill them...

How wrong we were.

AoE charm was fun the first 30 min as I got to kill a few friends.. but after spending 80% of your time charmed it takes a long time to kill Lamia #9. Some people tried to kill the elementals thinking it would help.. no it doesn't.

Finally Medusa was all that was left.. had people wide scan and sure enough there was no mobs up besides that one. What a joke!

Medusa spams an AoE arrow move that deals serious damage unless you have 3 blinks or more up. AoE stun.. AoE petrify. You're either petrified, stunned, casting utsusemi, or running toward it getting "out of range" messages" the whole fight. The 5% of the time you are actually getting to swing you are hitting for 0..

Medusa doesn't have very high evasion so you can eat meat AND stack attack+strength gear on(hi2u 299h2h)... Without a bard I was hitting for 0-20 with the occasionally really strong crit hit.

Took 700+ people 3 hours to defeat Medusa alone..

SE REALLY REALLY REALLY NEEDS TO RAISE THE 700 ISP CAP!

fought Gurfurlur the Menacing on my server.

My guess is he's a mnk sicne he countered me for about 200 damage.
used a WS called "haymaker" did like 500 to everything in a line, he did some soorta attack that looked like Formless strikes and his fists started to glow white, hit me like 300 and got amnesia effect, it didn't showup on my chatlog.

sa+ca verticle cleave (if you can land it with 500+ clubbing him) does about 400, without sneak attack its about anywhere from missing him to under 50 damage >.>

oh and disseverment poison sticks on'em XD

When #9 and her three elementals + Medusa were all that were left we thought beseiged would be over because that was just 5 mobs no?

Thats why we killed the 3 elementals really fast to push it down to two mobs in the zone and that should of ended beseiged?

Lamia #9 would resummon elementals at will... I think those elementals and the mechanics of them never really being dead (and the fact she could summon different types) might of had something to do with beseiged not ending until Medusa died...

I warped here after Dynamis, no generals, mobs were raping people in the AC area >_>; worked those guys out of there, killed Lamia No.9, and have been fighting Medusa for over an hour now :D PS: I've been petrified for like 5 minutes and have died at least 7 times now

the mere fact that besieged is taking THREE hours with 700 people in the zone designates the fact that there is a problem. The fact that you cant even fucking run through any beastmen stronghold alone anymore because of true sight mobs at every corner is a problem.
