Immortal Lions - Blue Mage Artifact Quests

Final quest runthrough:

1) Speak to Waoud, get creepy cutscene.

2) Go to Navukgo Execution Chamber (Lebros Staging Point -> Halvung -> Dahak/Wamoura Zhayolm camp -> Execution Chamber) and fight NM: Immortal Flan. Has about 4000HP, apparently can split into multiples but I didn't see that. You do NOT need to be on BLU to do this part.

3) Go back to town, talk to Waoud, cutscene guy gives you a letter to deliver.

4) Go to Lathuya (F-8 Whitegate, 2nd floor) and he'll say the boss is out fishing in Aydeewa.

5) Zone to Aydeewa at K-9 in Wajoam. Head north until you hit the lake (no stealth needed) and click the blank targetable spot. Cutscene.

6) Go back to Whitegate, talk to Lathuya, obtain Magus Charuqs!

E: Beaten. Also, in terms of fight difficulty, I'd say any level 75 job would be able to solo it no problem. Probably a party of low-mid 60's or an alliance of mid-50s would be fine here too.

Seems we might yet again get slapped with a wait until midnight JST thing again. Waoud yields nothing, and the NPC that you complete the quest at tells you to wait until another day if you have any other business with her boss. Sounds like we get shafted again, unless anyone has better ideas.

Already did. Nothing happened. Going to wait one more before submitting to the idea that SE might have made all these waiting checks to keep BLU's from bumrushing all the quest areas.

There's a Puppetmaster on my server named Laku who has 3 Pieces of Puppetmaster AF, including Body and Head which are 58 and 60, and has the title Paragon of Puppetmaster Excellence.

I'm feeling very cheated at the moment.

I'm feeling very cheated at the moment.

I'm pretty sure they have done this just because there are so many BLU's. This forces the attaining people to be more spread out, since not everyone can be on at midnight JST, and it will sort of break up the cascade of people trying to complete the quests.

I can't see any other reason for this, and since no one seems to be able to figure out how to progress past the feet, I'm almost certain it's another wait until midnight JST deal.

Cosair and PUP can access their three last pieces by talking to some npc which either will craft it or make you deliver a letter anyone know if there is somthing like this for blu. My money is on that imperial livery guy but looks like another wait to me if he is.

Looking at the description of one of the BLU quests:

You will see the start area for the in-game description (according to .dat files) is the Imperial Ward. Has anyone tried clicking the gate there to see if it triggers anything? Also another start area is listed as "???".

Edit: Think about other AF quests too. One quest will reward you with multiple pieces, correct? You trigger the hands quest, and you can start your coffer hunts IIRC. This must be similar. Have people checked their quest logs to see if Omens is marked as active or completed after obtaining the feet?

.dat's make it look like the other 3 pieces are similar to the other 2 jobs, that is, once you flag AF3 you can trade items + coinage to an NPC in exchange for another piece. Not for sure but NPC conversations in the .dat's make it look like its either this or something similar.

I tried talking to everysingle npc in WHitegate nothing,

Stagging point Blu's nothing, Blupool nothing, sea ruins nothing, Alzhabi nothing.

I think we have to wait 1 rl day again for af3 quest and so that the crafter guy wakes up ~_~

I think they fucked up on the synthesis materials method, coffer would suck but it would be better... depending on materials, this could potentially cost millions of gil

It seems the Elf dude will most likely be the person who makes the Pants, Gloves and Body, but the Hat will mostly be from another CS start at Waoud.

Both of which are /shutdown until JP midnight.. I see your "Fuck you Square" and I raise you a "Go fuck yourself Square!"

And on the subject of other AF, I saw a Mithra PUP on Lakshmi with the hat and pants.
