Okay well I got there, and from SE's screenshot, the surrounding area looks kind of the same (a little bit lighter than Wajaom.)
But, on widescan, all I came up with was a NPC named "Hamta-Iramta" on top of the ledge. Also, according to the maps, This place seems to look like the exit from the Jade Sepulcher(Up on top of the ledge, I mean.) But other than that, there is not a single mob in this area.

Hydra is in structure of wajom there is no reason it would pop in other zone

Tis a shame Would be nice if SE would implement some regular NM's / HNM's / whatev with more complex fight tactics than tank / heal / dps with moderate twists. Would be interesting to have a fight where each head had to be tanked, whether aggro was linked somehow or not; perhaps having the main head go for #1 in aggro queue, head #2 going for #2, etc.

Even if something else does drop (couldnt really see anything else tied to him) that piece of shit set of armor is reason enough to be upset about his drops. Seriously...where do they get off doing this? Why not make the best most enviable gear on the hardest mobs. Ugggh.

I agree that his drops are undeniably shitty. The fact that they have possibly the biggest monster in the game dropping stuff that only 2 jobs can wear is disgusting.

On the other hand, I'm one of those people that want to kill something just to kill it, so... I'd be happy to kill it once before saying fuck it.
