Relax, not trying to pick a fight, just pointing out all the gathering crafts are now more or less 'leveled' in every sense of the word. They're all a huge waste of time for mediocre-at-best pocket money, but the people who do them don't do them to get rich. They're relaxing, to one degree or another. Fishing is little more than a twitch-reflex game where you type /fish every 30-55 seconds now, but it's more or less the same amount of brain activity as digging or harvesting/logging/mining.

Chocobo Digging was basically effortless in comparison, and therefore exploitable. This 'patch' doesn't fix its exploitability (sup 3 accounts per ricebowl in china) but it makes it more expensive to exploit. I suppose that upsets people who liked effortless money but life is life. This game was never about having fun AND making money at the same time.

Fishing fatigue makes this completely untrue. Fish are not worth more than they used to be (esp. with the gilseller bank bannings) so fishermen are doing more labor for the same (often less) money/hour spent.

No it doesnt unless you have a robotic cyborg arm implant. Alot of the high lvl fish are ridiculously difficult now. Fishing was gayed no matter what anyone says.

High level fish or not, if someone with high enough level wants to go out and fish up stacks of sole, then they can. The whole point was fishermen have the option of targeting what they want to fish up, regardless if you lose the battle because you're trying to reel in some massively hard fish. Contrast that with digging. There is no control. You dig whatever pops up. This is why applying fatigue to digging doesn't work, especially with such a small number of items that can be dug up now.

As for me posting on Alla, what's your point? I post on a lot of boards. Does that negate any of my points? Sure doesn't. Sorry I don't have a post count bordering the thousands so you could feel more comfortable reading what I have to say. Oh wait, I'm not sorry. Gfy, thanks.
