Outside of returning the favor in the mud-slinging department, there hasn't been a serious response on my part that wasn't sensible. Craghack actually has a well rounded opinion on the subject and surprisingly enough, isn't whining about it like you nor is he pretending to know about other aspects of the game like you. The one thing I'll say about your post is yeah, A10 diggers can take it stride I suppose. Those of us who never got a chance to get A10 aren't very happy over these changes, however

While I've followed this thread since page one, I've been staying out of the debating. However, like Craghack, I think it's time for me to jump in.

I'm a few levels away from A10, and while I may never get there, I'm still very happy with this change. About two year ago I started digging, and while Midgar has a ton of diggers and I almost never even broke even on the greens cost, I enjoyed it and stuck with it.

Even as I leveled up, a "good" day digging was one where I broke even on the cost of greens. No matter the zone or the time of day, Midgar has so many diggers it was a challenge to get anything, let alone good stuff.

But now? Instead of putting hours into digging and maybe making a small amount of profit, I can put 20 minutes in and make a darned lot more profit than I ever made before. I've made upwards of 200K for 20 minutes "work" under this new system. (Sure, there are some days where I make little to no profit, but that's usually when I'm testing new zones.)

Under the old digging system, there was no way in hell I'd dig in the more popular zones (Deserts, for example), but now I often have the zones to myself.

I understand that the system hurt people who used to be able to dig for hours on end and make profit every hour, but for me personally, on a server with way too many diggers, I've come to love this change. Fhqwghads does not speak for all non-A10 diggers.

Just like to straighten some things out:

1) I don't care whether or not other people share my views, it's not a big deal. If some people do, great, if not, it doesn't make any difference. SE has made changes to digging, and they obviously have no plans on changing it. That doesn't mean I have to like it.

2) When some of you sit here and say I speak of things I know nothing about, care to elaborate? I'm interested in hearing some examples of me mentioning something which required any sort of in-depth knowledge in order to draw comparisons from.

3) I'm certainly not here to show bg "what's up." I'm here to present my thoughts on the subject, which I have done. Some people disagreed, and some of the people who disagreed weren't even chocobo diggers. Then Nynja comes in with the "blah blah whiny" bullshit, then other people jump in, and now it's degraded to a stupid 3rd grade typical internet flame-fest.

It seems there's a finite number of posts on most message boards where a thread can discuss things civilly before they descend into the realm of lameness. Apparently this is where the thread now resides. It doesn't matter what I type, whether it be flaming someone back who's flaming me, me making a post sincerely debating my thoughts on digging, or if I posted a random picture of Bob Sagat being run over by a dump truck. People would find some stupid reason to post what they think is a funny reply, or would argue that it shouldn't have been linked to a jpg, but a gif, or some other retarded shit like that.

Now as usual, there will be the "stfu"s, what people think is clever with tired directions on how to kill yourself, lame pictures of some kid crying and other crap, or someone who will pick this post apart and exclaim "how dare you trivialize camping land kings" even though I never said shit about them.
