If Aspi makes an early showing and pops on day 3 (no one camps it, they just send ToD mule out), chances are that if you take the route of "switch to whm, vahzl, OP to your home nation, run to your mog house, switch jobs (get gear if applicable), run back to OP npc" instead of "switch jobs (get gear if applicable), pay 8k, run to OP npc", you wont be fighting it.

Really though, except for the sake of arguing, do you have a valid reason to not use the HQ Taru? I can't think of one unless you're that poor, in which case, bust out that L42 whm and go cure a general for 20 mins while waiting for besieged to be over so you can use your precious NQ Taru again. Perhaps you didn't read my post, but I didn't talk to the HQ Taru again for over 5 hours, that's more than 1 game day. He didn't just "pretend it never happened," I still had to wait after talking to him again.

Ninja Edit-I don't remember if we had the AC or not at the time, but this could have some effect on it, or I guess it's possible that I somehow got an overly agitated HQ Taru that day, or a simple glitch if what you said is in fact correct and repeatable for just about everyone else, and I just had a buggy Taru.

How often do you use HQ? Buffer idea might be right then, i use him at least 1-2 times a day usually

I would say once or twice a day as well. At least 1 time every day leading up to the point I was talking about I'm sure, only lately have I not been on quite as much.

Very well could have been just a buggy warp, or possibly something to do with the AC. When Kujata loses it we don't get it back for 3-5 days it seems.

Next time I go to buy soap for Limbus(tonight I believe) I'll use NQ as long as there's no besieged going on and wait a few hours before talking to the HQ again to see what happens. I haven't used HQ in 3 days since I've been leveling some lower level jobs in Gustaberg and generally not playing very much at all.
