Hydra being fought on Bismarck

After taking a few hours to figure out how to do it on the first attempt, but let's not count that because you did the second attempt in 45mins.

So how are those Ouryu wipes going? First attempt was only stopped because of a CFH. Regardless 100% >> dead in 45mins. I'm kinda glad the CFH happened, mainly because we claimed at 66% the first time, and I don't like any kill unless its from 100%.

How noble of you lockecole. Even watching Priceless constantly take down Hydra to 10% then losing it and having it go up tpo 50% or some overwhelming number, you still managed to waste time (like 2-3 hours? All I know is that I was falling asleep). Yeah Ill give you that you managed to kill Hydra in 45 on the second attempt. Congrats.

Nice edit. Priceless never took it down to 10%, I believe 18% was their lowest, so no they never got to the point where he was in constant 3 head mode. And even though we watched Priceless for 6hours we still weren't sure of the exact strat. (considering their "strat" in and of itself was so random and unorganized) We were trying new things, some things were working but we werent sure why, and finally we realized what was dropping his heads, so we changed jobs and began our real attempt.
Yeah we fooled around with him for 2hours, sadly at that time there was no real strat formed via forums so we had to guess alot until we saw a pattern. It's ok though, be happy you were there, we're glad to be able to form strats which all others eventually conform to.

JPs on Alexander had it first this morning, with an Aegis taru pld. They screwed around with it for over six hours before just warping away.

But yeah, his AoEs just plain suck.

It's pretty easy to zerg SA+WS to 20%, but after that you NEED both heads off or else its hell.

I guess ours was mild with all 3 heads after 20%

Was constantly stuck at or around 7-9% with sometimes 3 heads out.

Finally defeated after we found out what to do with it putting up barrier at 1%.

just a thought- just becasue there wasnt good gear in the update doesnt mean this guy is totaly worthless, hell he can drop an item already in the game but a really rare drop rate, I know its unlikely but theres no way they are putting a NM this hard in the game for some of the worst gear there is. I am hoping that it drops that stupid physical dmg -10 breastplate, but again, I know its VERY unlikly..

just saying, just because it wasnt added in the update doesnt mean it cant drop from new nms , but AGAIN I am doubtfull

From what I noticed is that a crit had a % Chance to kill a head, like Imps having their horn broken. Ive seen head broken from a 0 Damage Crit from a nin during phys shield, and during a SA Steel Cyclone for 900.

Took it down to 9%, then it became really hard to keep the other heads off. Back up to 50%. ; ;
