I had my friend translate that info on Bluestreak Gyugyuroon. It just says it was up straight away after the 8/2 maintenance as someone else already stated. So it's not known if it just lottery popped straight up or is seperate and random.

Also doesn't say where it popped on the map which is lame.

The other info on it says it cannot be Gravity'd or Bound, during the fight it will run away and link all the lv.73~75 rats.

Also a 75NIN cannot dodge it's melee attacks unless you have mambo's. But not sure how well equipped the 75NIN that posted this info was.

Just posting this so anyone after it can be prepared ^-^ ...make sure to have plenty for add control and a bard for your tank.

[edit] also not sure if it's know yet or not, but Almighty Apakulla drops the Sanguine Sword (http://ffxi.somepage.com/itemdb/8646) ..it appears to just be a random rare pop on the boat to Al'Zhabi from Nashmau.

It has en-stun, best to have poison pots for Yawn and ahs alot of HP so make sure to have the DD's to kill before the boat docks.

No idea on latent for the mace.

Seems to be lottery tho, tried to take it out with 2 people 2 boxing (NIN BRD WHM BLM) best we did was 15%. It stays big after you wipe (as previously stated), and stays raged, but it doesn't really have that much HP. Just a pain in the ass to get to.

edit> We didn't kill it with the group of 4, left it up overnight and came back after Faf, and it was not up. Popped after 3 or 4 place holders were killed. So it may or may not depop.. but it was up when we got there the night before so more than likely someone else just killed it. (no drops were posted on the AH tho)

I've yet to see a screenshot or even hear an account of Fire Bomblet dropping anywhere. I'm almost willing to assume those 'Ancient Bombs' is what it's from. Being a 'bomblet' makes it sound more petite, as if from a cluster insead of a "Big" Bomb. *shrug*

Friend of mine camped Big Bomb and popped it, but it got jacked by some JPs who trained mirror guards on him. However, these JP gomi apparently couldn't handle the NM and wiped at 2%, and so the RDM who was with my friend finished the bomb and it dropped the bomblet.

So, yeah. Train mirror guards on anyone who claims Big Bomb.

Some Jody info for those interested in fighting:

Went with MNK/NIN, SAM/NIN and RDM/WHM; got to around 50% before we died, mostly cause we got a repop and I ran MP-dry. That setup could probably have won.

He spams Vampiric Root from what I saw, only one Bad Breath the whole fight and it was at the start. Used a gimp sweet breath. If you have one SC and blink tanks it's easy as balls.

He does hit rather hard though.

I'm currently in Arrapago Reef killing everything in sight, but we're not getting any drops. tried klling the Nix's, tried the IT Merrows past the Nix's, all of those dropped Fang keys. We're about to start trying to head towards the other 2 Tidal Gates to see if they are somehow part of the requirements.

Claw Key should be more analogosu to Blackscale i would think. Lamia Bone Key drops from Qutrub. In Mamook it's like
