We killed 19 2 days in a row (first day dropped nothing, second day dropped excorist hose). The second day we went back about 22hrs after we killed it the first day and it popped. This was around 2am est iirc. Next day we were going to go again. THe WHM we were camping for checked the AH and someone had sold a Templar Mace to himself for 20mil at 9am est.

So either the mob isnt 21-24 or the mace doesnt drop from it.

I believe that it is, but only if you die in the right part of the map. I believe that if you get the message but she doesn't pop, then the pop window is open, but you're in the wrong part of the map.

Has any server had someone post the Quirin Collar on the AH? Maybe theres someone out there thats killed it and hasnt said anything. Theres also rumor that the gun "Peacemaker" is the common drop off of him. (but until someone finds him its just rumor.)

On an unrelated note, only two groups have killed Proteus on my server, one being RMT.
I hope more people start killing this NM as im looking to pick up the sword for my Corsair.

Maybe the RMT are monopolizing it. In which case there isn't much you can do, and may as well just buy it off the AH.

There should be some sort of incentive for RMT not to do this sort of thing.

Since when did RMT become early adopters? They only usually go for proven profit, the proteus kill by RMT Local was talking about was likely either not RMT or just RMT on their offtime.

They're already camping Zoraal Ja and Big Bomb on some servers. If that sword is in demand, I'm sure they'll camp Proteus too.

A group that camps the Al Zahbi -> Nashmau ferry should have no trouble. I've seen him three times on the same (realtime) day, just randomly riding the ship. Given, he ate most of the passengers, but that's what you get for sitting out in the open without Sneak up.
