there's a room in halvung with a throne like area, with some dahak's in it walking on what appears to be a lava pit with a "red carpet" like walking path up to the throne area, sorta like in castle oz with tzee xicu. you can get there from behind a unopenable gate in the back of the true sight part.

We had galka PLD tank it straight up and it was np. Just cure bomb him.

As for Lamia No.19, i think its lottery pop off dead bodies in the reef. Not sure if its only in a certain spot but first spot it popped at was next to the soulflayers. The other spot is right next to Lamie No. 7.

The first time Lamia No. 19 popped on us was when I died tanking Lamie No. 7. The bitch popped right on top of me and on the log it said something like u sense some feeling foreboding. I quickly reraised and got its attention and it popped to 2 skeletons. I had a mnk, whm and myself with me and of course we wiped. After that, No. 19 depopped. Later we got more reinforements and killed Lamia No.7 np.

The 2nd time it popped was when some random person ran by us and died to a qutrub. After he died, it said the message again on my log and Lamia no. 19 popped right on top of him. So I pulled it real quick and brought it to a tunnel where my party was resting. It pops 2 skeletons that hit for 200+ dmg to nin. Lamia no.19 itself isn't too hard. Pld tank ftw. He's also stunnable.

Emergent Elm, lottery off the Treants in the northern part of Bhaflau Thickets, dropped Gloom Claymore and was easy.

Hearing of a new Apkallu NM too! Partially camping it as I type this...

Just took out Devout Radol Ja on Phoenix. Seems to be an odd NM.

With 10 people, we took it down in about 5-7 min to <10% HP, and as we were getting ready to TP-bomb it before it bene'd (whm type) it bene'd.

Continued the fight till about 30% when we wiped cause the nin caught by a firespit. Tractored, raised, and started again, this time with an extra white mage.

Took 45+ minutes. The thing just stopped taking damage, or miraculously got a ton more HP.

Trying to pop lamia 19 by soulflayers right now. Getting a message saying "You feel an eerie sense of foreboding" but no pop.

If it gives that message that means its probably up. Like I said, it might be lottery pop off player's corpses. When it gives the message, sometimes it pops, sometimes it doesn't. When it does pop, it stand right on top of a corpse unclaimed.

It suddenly stopped giving that message after we sac'd a level 1 about 25 times.

Eh, does anyone have anymore info at all on Proteus? Everytime I've taken the boat since the patch with only the intention of getting to Nashmau, he's been up raping people. This is my forth trip now with the manpower and will to kill him and he's not popped. I'm fairly certain he's like Sea Horror in that he can pop whenever he feels like it as I saw him this morning then another LS member reported him running rampant not two hours later. Any personal info on the frequency of seeing him is appriciated 'cause I really want this sword to go with my new AF!

On a side note, has anyone ever seen an Apkallu board the ship? It's the funniest thing this side of a meleeing Galka Summoner.

Killed this thind twice yesterday. First time it dropped arborist nails + gloom claymore, second time only dropped 2 earth crystals. This guy hit me as nin for 300~ when i had berserk on, drill branch for 400-600. Very strong regen in the day time as well as a Tp regen, much easier to kill in the night. Nails seem kinda nice, +18 mp enmity-5 mp while healing +1

- Kill placeholders to spawn NM...and buff the hell out of each subsequent Apkaulla.
- Pray to God the NM pops before you're doing single digit melee damage.
- Hope SE didn't give him 4 assistant Apkallu Servants of Death or anything crazy to deal with.

The Apkallu I think I know of has no placeholders and will just randomly pop. Until I can prove his existance, I don't want to say anymore.

With that said though, who's to say you don't need max hate to make him pop? Is that any stupider a concept than having to DIE to get an NM to pop or run through a pond and get a negative effect?
