The encounter itself isnt a bad one. He is decently hard under 15%, albeit easier once you figure out to just TPburn him, but he can still kill people with Nerve Gas spam. Personally I would've liked to see the shields play more an effect to give the fight SOME strategy, instead of ending up just a TP zerg. I think thats the way SE intended to make the fight, they just failed at balancing it properly. I fought Hydra for about 7 hours before having to give up, because when we finally realized to just TP burn him, we were seriously lacking melee and couldnt keep heads down long enough to get him to/under 5% anymore. Best use we've found from the Berserker's torque is that it -will- wake you if you're sleeping... so kill hydra so an engaged melee can wake up from a sleep, and get 1 tp in the process.![]()
