I've personally tested haste at 15%, victory at 12%, and advancing at 10% (brd75 with uh 255 wind skill if wind skill affects march, which is harder to test, with march+2 instrument). Also tested with soul voice.

So double march = 22%Originally Posted by aers
double march + haste = 25% (cap)?
Haste cap on recasts is 50%, Cap from straight Gear is at 25%
So basically 2x March is useless when you have melee's that have enough haste gear? Or are we still going by melee attack being able to benefit from 70% haste?
Haste from spell/song cap: >45%
Haste from gear cap: 25%
Total haste cap for recasts: 50%
Total haste cap for melee: 70%
I always thought Soul Voice allowed Marches to break the Haste cap, it's just that additional haste from the spell/equips plays no roll past that cap.
I mean... just go SV both Marches with any weapon. My experience with it isn't documented/tested/analyzed at all, but it sure feels and looks faster than 50% >.>
SV'd marches should be 44% haste, which is still under the 50% recast and 70% melee attack caps. And with haste gear/haste spell it probably looks faster than 50% because it is; I honestly didn't know all the caps beforehand but according to the stuff that Aurik posted the melee cap is 70%.Originally Posted by Nodachi
