Just unlocked nothing else - Previous Record was with Gully, Those Big numbers just was going out for max damage so changed to H. Harpe so that could account for a little difference. 2 Critical hit merits, 1 Triple Attack Merit, 2 dagger merits. Using Sole Sushi.

Ultima's shields are a buff, not a phase. It uses Energy Screen/Mana Screen. You might be able to steal it, would be pretty funny if you could.
Mobs like Omega though are indeed in phases and you most likely couldn't steal the buff.

I want a stylet. The THF knife is actully pretty good damage like I said I do not use it during the daylight hours.

Took two thf-friends to Dvucca staging point, so they could try for e-peen dmg. Highest I've seen was a 3.4k Shark bite, which doesn't say much considering it was on a Qutrub, but still fun.

I'm not sure why you're using AFv2 pants over Dusk Trousers for TP gains. War Gloves or Tarasque Mitts (if you're using sushi) would be far better than AFv2 gloves as well.

And trust me when I say this - Thief's knife is far inferior to other off-hand daggers available.

It's just like when Sea pots use the shitty Ice spikes + Def boost move, or when mamools use the Accuracy+Evasion move, 1 is dispellable, 1 isnt no matter how many times you dispel.

That's what im hoping aura steal removes.

I was under the impression that neither buff from pots was dispelable, you can in fact dispel both accuracy and evasion from a mamool though.

The Damage on the Mamool is a lot than better before the update. The Puk damage my highest ever is 1989 with Shark Bite. I do believe I had a Corsair in that pt I don't quite remember.

Also all my tests were with SATA not all of them had Assassin's Charge on it though. I nailed a 770 Evisceration on a Mamool BLM without a SATA or AC. So Evisceration really got a nice boost but I didn't use it much. Just a couple times on each mob. Nailed Quite a few Strong Dancing Edges on mobs without SATA as well but didn't note them. Didn't break 1k on any of them to my knowledge unless it was a Puk.

Edit - I also noticed my Criticals were very high. My highest being a 151 on a Puk and a 120 on one of the Mamools. Maybe Critical Damage got a boost as well?

Ignoring bonuses, why would you use a 28/183 dagger during the daytime and then switch to a 28/194 dagger during night time?

Anyway, as for the other stuff, you could upgrade Spike Necklace to either Chivalrous Chain, Spectacles or Peacock Charm. There's pretty much no reason to wear af2 pants for TP gain and you are carrying around dusk for tp which is already far better than af2 pants, so use them instead. Again, no reason to use Assassin's Armlets during TP... War+1, Dusk, Homam or Tarasque (sushi) are all better. Comet Tail is a pretty odd choice for the ranged slot too; why not use a Bomb Core (not pulling) or some other weapon with some stat boost that would actually help your damage? Any xbow with acid bolts or even a Lightning Bow+1 would help you more than the Comet Tail.

No real comment on the WS set except that I'm surprised to see the Comet Tail there too.

stylet's crap. Faux parsed it for me when I had 2 sitting in my bazaar for 2 months.

In my opinion THF and DRG have the potential to becoming the best debuffers for melee, from what I hear about Angon and Feint.

So far from Feint tests it is a HUGE -evasion. Something about taking an EP mob from high evasion to low evasion with a weapon skill of less than 110. But it lasts for 30s and decreases over time so at 20s it's less -evasion than when first used. Would be great for certain situations but meh.

The way I see it 3x war's or drg's could essentially replace a bard (minuets at least) in exp with capped tomahawk/angon because 45s defense down it practically the entire mob.

Tomahawk doesn't work as a normal defense down like Angon, Acid Bolts, or even Dia. But, we could always merit Aggressive Aim and use Acid Bolts instead.

Call it what you want, it's not a buff just because he states he uses it. A buff is something that can be dispelled, try and dispel Ultima or Hydra and you'll get a No Effect notice. Regardless of if it being in the chatlog or shown via animation (Omega) its still a phase implemented into the strategy of the mob.
