I'm not sure why but everytime people in WoW use the "^^" or "^_^" smilies they seem out of place to me. Those seem like such FFXI smilies.

A friend of mine uses D: constantly, and I hate it. I don't get what it's supposed to mean, other than some kind of sadness...but it just looks retarded. I try to stick with :] :[ and :D for the most part.
