In merit's Pld/nin is decent, but laughable compared to my ninja's damage.. I do have a Kikoku, but Senji could make pld's cry too.

As far as endgame HNM tanking, you just don't see a whole lot of really good ninjas and very few utilizing nin/drk as often as they should. It varies alot by the linkshell, but we don't use pld/nin all that often.. i'd say it's about 50/50 nin or pld tank..

I've outparsed some Senji nin's and I don't even get to merit sword since I have it on dagger. You make that comment because you haven't seen a pld that tries as hard as you do on your nin.

I prefer Puppetmaster to kite Fafnir, throw Valoredge at it. Then when your puppet dies you have Evasion Bonus to save you.

Sorry to derail the thread that seems to have come back but after reading 30+ pages of mainly map stupidity/flaming I have 1 question to ask....

If you are a red mage or a white mage, and you have the choice to haste a ninja or a samurai, who would you haste first? I ask the mages because melees are dumb and useless :D

This argument is so frustrating because people don't understand some fundamental things.

1. ninurta's sash is just a speed belt, there is no real difference between them
2. no job should get priority for it because its a show piece only
3. map had the most points in the LS and was the LS founder, so there is no reason he shouldn't have gotten it
4. haste build is good for all melee jobs and if you don't think so you're retarded

Not like KA is botted constantly by gilsellers and other groups, and not like the belts sell for 80-150m... I mean, unless you are rich in RL and buy gil normally or you bot heavily in this game (in either case you blow in my book), it shouldn't even be considered as something you shrug off as easy to get.

Easy in comparison to Sash? Maybe in some ways for some, but that's not the argument here. In either case they both require a lot of extremely different forms of effort to obtain now, and regardless in some ways a Speed Belt is more difficult. (IE, you don't have to be able to camp at all times of the day for sea)

You could argue it's easier to get a Hauberk+1 in comparison to an Adaman Hauberk as well, and the difference between the two is very small in reality (so it's really a fair comparison). You're not much of an HNM LS though if you tell your WARs/DRKs/BSTs that they shouldn't want an Adaman Hauberk, and to go get a Hauberk+1 because it's easier to obtain for basically the same improvement.
