I've known Joseph Bartholomew Smith since about 4th grade, so I feel as though I should give you all some insight into why he says the things he does.
His mother lost her legs and was confined to a wheelchair, but was forced to raise Joseph and his siblings on her own because her husband was killed in a bizarre gardening accident. She used to beat "Map" with an old extension cord she'd keep tied to her wheelchair, so it's very understandable that he'd be bitter and hostile to even his close friends.
Joseph's brother has just come out of the closet and announced that he will move to the Dominican Republic to be with his fiancee, Pedro, which I'm sure must be hard to cope with, especially since Joseph was recently dumped by his online girlfriend, Shaniqua.
So if you feel that Map's posts are caustic and obnoxious, please keep in mind that it's not the real Joseph B. Smith talking. It's all the drugs he has to take to repress the venereal diseases he received when he was raped after the circus. By a clown.

Been a while since I've responded to anything, so I'll give you guys a little something to put in your duel disk and shuffle.

I pioneered my company into the uncharted gaming industry, lead it for up to 10 years now, and stuck with it for over 80 consecutive tournaments. For more than a decade I drudged through unrewarding losses to no named duelists, continuing on with nothing more than hopes that one day pegasus's heinous actions would be repayed. It was repayed with interest. I was amongst the first (and last) to have destroyed what was proclaimed 'unbeatable,' and through that was aquired not only my coveted obelisk amongst other cards, but worldwide stardom. Coupled with my success deep into the Battle City Tournament, nearly completed Kaibaland, and the myriad of other achievents and cards throughout my career, I have become no less than the most reknowned duelist to play this game.

With any celebrity status, comes press, both good and bad, and yugi's little band of freaks have become nothing but tabloid to my success. As the National Enquirer would do, these guys focus on my every draw and word, spinning what I say, or just flat out creating stuff that I never actually said, often just to get a rise out of me. "Kaiba deserves it because everywhere he goes he brags about his Blue-Eyes," is a good example of your fictionalized banter. Truth be told, I've only responded rarely directly addressing the Blue Eyes White Dragon, because I was so tired of watching everyone lambaste it. I can't even post a humourous screen shot of me using burst stream of destruction on something, without getting critiqued for my damage, and how the Blue Eyes isn't helping me.

What you guys really don't realize, is how much you're padding my already excessive ego. Here you are, 10 to 15 pages after my last post, still talking about me. An entire other thread was created soley in my name, and others have since derailed to it as well, not to mention the countless before it. Fact remains, for good or for bad, people I don't even know are taking time out of their day to think about me, and talk about me, and it's enough to almost make me blush. It doesn't matter to me what you're saying, I don't read the tabloids anyways, but that I am so integral to everyone's game experience flatters me to no end.

So, credentials set aside about how acheived my career in Duel Monsters is, how intellegent I am for getting as far as I have, and how talented I am at the game, I end with this last bit of fact for you, something to keep this thread going for another 10-15 pages without me commenting on it.

There remains one indesputable fact about me, that no one can contest or argue.

I have the only three Blue Eyes White Dragon cards, and you never will.

Been a while since I've responded to anything, so I'll give you guys a little story about how my life got flipped upside down.

In west Philadelphia born and raised, on the playground was where I spent most of my days. Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and all shootin some b-ball outside of the school, when a couple of guys, who were up to no good, startin makin trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one lil fight and my mom got scared. She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in bel Air.'

I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say this cab is rareb ut I thought "Now forget it, Yo homes to Bel Air!" I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie "Yo homes smell ya later."

There remains one indesputable fact about me, that no one can contest or argue.

I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.
