Once again, you're just an idiot. Think before you talk, you're embarrassing yourself. Haste and Attack are just as good for samurai as any other job, and most sams wear as much of these 2 catagories as they can to get tp. Nobody cares about the sash for the spell interuption or the subtle blow, and to say so is a blatent stupid lie. So try again.

errr,, Senoska back away slowly >_> haste and attack benefit all melee.

-6% spell interruption is enough to turn you into a selfish retarded loot whore Map

    Effects for Ninurta's Sash:
Attack +6 (If you're trying to justify the ATK+6, why not get Master Belt or at least Potent Belt? Durr.)
Haste +6% (LOLSAM needs hsate 2 swnig teh gkt fastar! Not to mention all the time it takes off your JA timers and... oh, wait. With a STP build you won't need a mere 6% haste, either.)
Subtle Blow +6 (Alright, this may be the only part of the belt that's understandable. It's too bad none of the stats matter for you.)
Spell Interruption Rate -6% (I think someone said it earlier, but since you've proved that your SAM/NIN is able to effectively tank anything in the game... oh wait, what's that? You never use SAM/NIN? Shame. Well what about SAM/WHM for recasting Stoneskin at those Fafhogg fights? SOMETHING MIGHT INTERRUPT YOUR CASTING! BETTER COME PREPARED!)

For Corsair, everything is lol +1.

I'm assuming you're taking this approach cause you actually can't think of a good reason it should go to a ninja over a sam.
When did SAM ever have a haste setup? If you use a speed belt on HNMs, you Sir, are an IDIOT.

Think of a the stats for a min. Haste+% gear is very useful on certain jobs like NINs and WARs. They increase their overall speed and decrease the recast timers.

Subtle Blow+% again is used for jobs that attack pretty consistently like NINs and MNKs.

    Attack+...pretty self-explanatory.

Spell interruption -% good for jobs that are actually casting some form of magic.

If you sum all this down, a SAM could make use of the little attack+6 only. Rest is pretty much useless, from what I can see.

Again, I'm not saying the Sash should go to a NIN over a SAM, just saying there are more benefits for a NIN than a SAM.
Did people ever step back to consider that Haste is just as good for a sam as it is for other melee jobs? I stack with walahara turban and byakko's haidate, why do you think most sams wear those(for the 50 thunder resist of course). Before the sash, I used a swift belt, which actually gave attack down, so this was a nice step up in attack for me. Keep trying BG.

    1) SAM builds TP with meditate often. Meditate doesn't rely on haste. Any other job whose task it is to build TP would get more use (100% is more than "less than 100%") Therefore, for any DD job who uses TP, the sash is better than on a SAM.

    2) SAM is usually switched in just for WS. WS give practically static amounts of TP to the mob; in a SAM's case, about 18 TP per hit. Subtle blow +6 reduces this by a paltry 1 TP per SAM ws; over the course of a fight this is virtually never going to be noticeable. On the other hand, every time ninja casts ninjutsu and deals damage, which one will typically be spamming for hate while tanking a hnm that is hard to hit, the mob gains a fixed amount of TP (10%?). In addition to Ninja's natural +25 SB, the sash will reduce the TP that the hnm gets from the ninja tank by an additional 8%. Therefore, for mob TP gain reasons, the sash is better on a NIN.

Any sam the wears a shura haidate over byakko's should quit the game.

I think Map has officially become eligible for the Legendary Retardation thread. Congrats!

This might also put him on par with Navvii for being as much of a lootwhore as someone who QM'd a Ridll.

    1) With the more haste, sams get more tp from melee (and even more with meditate) and as a result get in more ws per fight. You can't say that other jobs make better use of haste becuase with it they can keep up with a sam's ws rate, why not just let the sam get in more ws per fight and do more damage?

    2) In my shell, we don't swap sams out, we leave them in. They are pretty much the most valuable melee on hnm, as they constantly set up skill chains with each other and all the other melee. Haste helps them continually set up these chains. And I still maintain that nobody gives a fuck about subtle blow.

How did you work harder for it over anyone else who killed AV with you? Took some serious effort to have those macros that said "/l Samurai TP Ready!", "/join", and "/pcmd leave" didn't it?

I worked harder over the course of the months it took to pop that AV, and btw was on blm for the fight anyways.

so haste gives you more TP with meditate now?
