I think it's just proof that 2 can drop at once, since no screenshots were posted earlier.Originally Posted by Cylo

I think he was just showing that 2 drops in 1 run isn't EXTREMELY rare. But no drops is definitely more common. D:
I would assume it was a PUP who did that fight. Maybe he was expecting 3-4 attachments to drop?
Actually, there was one posted on page 16.Originally Posted by Faranim

You might be able to meditate outside and zone quickly in and still get 20-40tp. Forgot if it's still working
(For Christ's sake I posted my awesome strategy a few pages back, go read it, Galka.)
OK! Back to PUP attachment job findings.
I killed some Ronfaure rabbits - unfortunately I had to redo a lot of numbers because I have Stone III now, but things stayed fairly static since they always nuke for exact damage.
Mana Channeler - Water attachment, so obviously used Water Maneuvers.
341 - no maneuvers
372 - 1 water
403 - 2 water
434 - 3 waters
..... soo.. obviously, Mana Channeler gives a flat 10% MAB, with an additional 10% MAB per maneuver (I have no idea on how much it increase recast). Which I FIRST thought was good until I decided to toy with the idea I had before, the effect of maneuvers on attachments.
The one bad thing I found out is, all elements seem to be boosted in thier own way.
For ice.. Loudspeaker I gives 5% MAB, Loudspeaker II is 10% MAB, Loudspeaker I + II is 15% MAB.
But an Ice Maneuver with just Loudspeaker I gives an additional 5% MAB.
An Ice Maneuver with just Loudspeaker II gives an additional 5% MAB.
An Ice Maneuver with Loudspeaker I and II gives an additional 10% MAB.
(This is all per maneuver.)
The interesting part being, I figured an Ice Maneuver simply gives an additional 5MAB per ice attachment equipped. Which I found to be correct by..
Having an Ice Maneuver with Loudspeaker I and Mana Booster giving 10% MAB per maneuver.
Having an Ice Maneuver with Loudspeaker II and Mana Booster giving 10% MAB per maneuver.
Awesome - retried with Mana Channeler + Stealth Screen. No change. Damage stayed the same. So apparently Water Maneuvers boost attachments of their kind in their own way, or don't provide a per attachment bonus like Ice does. The obvious guess would be;
Ice Maneuvers add 5% MAB per ice attachment equipped and 1INT. (NoAF.)
Water Maneuvers multiply the power of each individual attachment (x2 potency, x3 potency, x4) and add 1MND. (NoAF.)
At any rate, if Scanner is ever FIXED - using Loudspeaker I, Mana Booster and Scanner would probably be more beneficial than Loudspeaker I and II.
Set1) You'd have 5% initial MAB, increased cast speed and nuke to weakness with 15% MAB per ice maneuver.
Set2) You'd have 15% initial MAB and an additional 10% MAB per ice maneuver.
(You'd have 35% MAB on both sets at 2 ice maneuvers, but nuke to weakness and faster spells by not using Loudspeaker II.)
All in all, Mana Channeler kind of sucks ass aside from giving an extra 10% MAB in a somewhat useless element. (Automatons spell damage on mobs is kind of meh. >.> So I don't care about MAB.) And since you can only have 3 maneuvers up at once, there's no reason to use Water Maneuver for 10% MAB off Mana Channeler, because you could use Ice Maneuver (I'm sure you'd have at least 2 ice attachments on.) And get 10%+MAB AND 1INT per maneuver.
Maybe one day I'll figure out Fire/Wind/Earth/Thunder/Dark/Light.
I was going to send a bug report, but I'm lazy.Originally Posted by Enitsu

I am most upset
I've beaten 2 ENMs as BLU/BLM for Escape and Warp, and well

I'm gonna go on the 13th as /THF and watch as my Chakram, all 8 attachments, lugworm sand, and a kitchen sink load but still no fucking worm mulch.
We need to see some data on how these attachments affect performance HNMs like sky guards and Kirin. I'd also love to see how a fully merited PUP ( +16 h2h, 10 merits in the automaton categories, walahra turban, and pahluwan pieces, etc) compares to a lvl 75 MNK (fully merited or not) in total damage.
Im not gonna lie, Im never, ever gonna care how my damage compares to a MNK. Just cause we get h2h doesnt mean we should be compared to a MNK.... PLD/RDM - Sword, THF/BRD(?) - Dagger, RNG/SAM - Bow. None of them really care to compare.Originally Posted by Toth
Eh, I would still like to see how a fully merited PUP fairs against enemies... and as to what skills would be best to boost. Im thinking of putting enough magic on Kenbishi to get Aero III then dumping the rest into the frame that I use the most at the time.
Agreed, Brendam.
Meh.. I have full meritted H2H and whatnot, but the difference is still like.. what - 50 H2H skill, Kick Attacks, more Martial Art Traits and the fact that I can't wear my black belt. The damage can't compare, never will.
I have pahluwan hands/body/legs, voyager, bahamut's hose(lol) - although I'm still 73 and can't use those yet.
But I think PUP will probably fair way better on HNMs than MNK will. Soon as someone posts some good Attuner and Tactical Processor data, we'll know. You'll probably be wearring full errant gear or some shit when that happens though, and take your role way in the back as a puppeteer.
that be intresting and diffrent if it actually worked that way. Someone just needs to test out after they get both and report back to usOriginally Posted by Enitsu
What are you average HFs and DKs at 73/75 on IT/VT exp mobs?
300-500 on imps with Dragon Kick. (Using TMHooks+2) Raging Fists still puts out better, more consistent numbers. I uh.. dont think I've used Howling Fist once on PUP. >.> I hated it on MNK as is.Originally Posted by Toth
