(Lesser Colibri 231/232 Ranged - Easy Prey to me. But still enough defense for decent numbers.) I tacked in melee numbers also for all but TS2+FM2 if someone needed some indepth look. Melee skill is 207 at lv73, and it's sharpshot so it's significally weaker than Valoredge per hit.. maybe another time I'll check his numbers.

Things to be aware of: I was using AF gloves for this, so any FM is +2STR. From the looks of it.. and for what it's worth, automaton R.Att seems based on bow and not marksmanship. (Meaning STR based and not primarily AGI based.)

I found it rather odd that +2STR had nearly the same effect as equipping TS2. I dont personally think that +2STR could jump average damage by 6-7%. I had no other fire attachments equipped at the time, so I doubt it functions in the same way as IMs. I didn't try using 2 FMs with no attachments.. but it's late and I'm lazy. Nor did I try doing this all over again with TS1, because.. that's a lot of time. Also noticed that when shooting from distance, damage dropped significalty. Talking like.. 172-163-181 from melee.. then 152-137-138 moving about 8.0Distance away.

    Correct me wherever.

Currently testing the Attuner attachment, and the results are looking quite good. However, it is HEAVILY influenced by fire maneuvers. Testing it on Tormentors (11-14 levels above me during these tests) yielded some interesting results. Its becoming rather obvious that PUP is going to be segmented based on the attachment tiers, I gets you to 30, IIs get you to about 60, and the IIIs are needed for the final stretch/endgame.

Accuracy was of course rather terrible without a target marker, at least by my standards (60-65%), and initially it wasnt doing anything special with TSII + Attuner. Damage was roughly the same as it had been with TSI+II and a single fire maneuver (20-40 reg hits, crits for around 65). Once I started stacking fire maneuvers the numbers jumped, a lot. Each fire maneuver was roughly doubling the initial dmg range for its melee attacks (one FM bumped it to 40-50, 2 FMs bumped it to 60-70, 3 FMs basically capped its attack). When 3 FMs were active it was hitting like a damned truck, regular hits over 100 per and crits for 150-160. These numbers are near its current TW caps (current crit cap is 213), which is pretty damned impressive to be reaching on mobs that are 11-14 levels above a B skill.

I am going to test and parse this again on a more realistic xp party tomorrow (VTs-low ITs), and I assume that either it will reach its cap with fewer FMs or put up higher numbers. The one thing that was a bit troubling were its WSs, they were still a bit on the low end even with 3 FMs active, and its current WS cap is around 250 for String Clipper. It was barely reaching half that, but due to String Clipper being 2 hits the low acc numbers were an influence.

Tests are being done with Valoredge frame, levels 65-67 (should be 68 after tomorrow's run). There has also been a single T3 attachment posted on Asura's AH, and it is a target marker, but I would assume the person who posted it wasnt dumb enough to not use it for their own puppet and was just posting it as a "Look at me" entry.

Awesome findings Now the only issue I see there is that 3 x fire maneuvers greatly increases the rate of overload and you cannot use any lightning manuevers to increase the effects of Target Marker. Still, these could legitly make PUP a much more attractive party member at least.

F*ck you. SE. Seriously. This ENM is a god damn joke. Today he summons the Harlequin. I let my maton tank the mannequin and go to kill the maton. No huge problem. The maton died fast. However, after a few mins where everything is under control, he summons another Harlequin. What a god damn joke. There is no way you or your maton can survive that. PUP really is a joke class. There is no way any PUP is ever going to get these attachments without extreme luck and connections. If they want this job to be strengthened, they had better think of any way quick to get 60+ PUPs these attachments. Otherwise, it will continue deservedly to be gimp, gimp, and gimp.

Or its just not an immediate thing and it will just take quite a while for a PUP to reach full power thus making it not a 'grind to 75 and forget' job.

PS Enitsu was apparently getting good numbers BEFORE new attachments.

I love how nonPups reply and especially Max. Yes, we do get good damage with the attachments but look what the ENM attachments do to damage on ITs. They are significant upgrades to our usefulness. But this stupid rarity and lousy drop rate is very discouraging to 60+ PUPs.

NOBODY CAN COMMENT ABOUT A JOB UNLESS THEY ARE THAT JOB AMIRITE?

And yes they're significant upgrades, but nobody expects everybody to have merc kris, ridill, speed belt etc. This shit is rare, something to work for and *gasp* is worth it. So you can't be an uber pup immediately, big whoop. You can still do good damage.

I wish they added tier 2 abs-stats to ENM that were actually good. It would be cool to work for a significant upgrade solo.

Yeah but tell that to Fairy (and most servers). PUPs need any advantage we can get.

LOL at thinking other melees get good invites. On unicorn BLU, which is already pretty tried and true, has a hard time getting invites. Its just DD hell.

It is not so much as getting invites but feeling you are contributing greatly to the party. People just flat out believe PUPs cannot do good damage all because of heresay.

I love inviting DRGs personally. They are a great job in parties. Yet now lolPUP has surpassed lolDRG.

It usually helps to have that job to 75 before you open your mouth about it. Now sit the fuck back down.
