Randomly calls a crab, funguar, lizard, the basic jugpets. They usually die with 2 hits + rampage or so (with no atk gear on). Pretty easy fight unless you get extremely bad dicerolls, usually need 1-2 jugpets to finish him off depending on how aggressive he is. One unusual thing that I've died to is when he uses calamity, it does a huge amount of damage. I got hit once for about 600 damage when the goblin gave him tp and promptly died. I'd say if you came in prepared with meds for emergencies, your win rate should be about 9/10 as BST. (provided you dont completely suck)Originally Posted by Priran

On a non-ENM related note, has anyone ever missed with Flashbulb?
I havn't seen flash resisted or missed yet, but I don't fight IT's.Originally Posted by Elcura

i gotta think any fight that requires 30 hi pots is flawed. i remember when i fought maat as monk i felt they healed too little hp in proprtion to the damage that you receive.would it not be better to use a vile elixer or something?im not even sure i could fit 30 hi pots into my inventory lol.
well I did wiin once by ADD, but in that fight, i did not get WS'ed once ever.
(And I didn't get any drop on that one. =\)
You dont need lots of hi-potions if you get lucky with the dice rolls. The large number of hi-potions is to (attempt) to overcome that luck factor.

I've never once missed with Flashbulb until the other day on a light-based 'ghrah, on which it missed every time for obvious reasons. You're not just talking about "no effect" from flash already being on the mob, right?Originally Posted by Elcura
I had Flash resisted on a (I believe it was) Bat in Gustav the other night. (lvl38 )

2 losses
3 wins
1 drop - Smoke Screen
which i think will be useless mostly but will be helpful in one very important way... pup enm
this time was pretty close, he started off with valour so i had pup voke him and we killed valour, about 30sec-1min later he resummoned sharpshot.. and from there its cake
i think if he summons valour or harlequin you're probably best off killing the pet and having half a min to get resituated and let the pup toss a cure iv while you hope you get luckier next smn
I've been playing around with the Attuner/TargetMarker combo lately and I'm sad to say the dmg output isn't quite as much as I would have hoped, although I have yet to try it on a real HNM/God/etc. Regardless, it really does bring up dmg in an exp pt to something that might be worth filling a slot with (Automaton's dmg being combined with Puppetmaster's dmg in consideration).
Lv.73 Automaton (capped Melee/Ranged Skills)

WS dmg: 100~120

Since this info seems to be a bit scattered at the moment, I'd like to try and get a collection of what attachments have dropped and been tested. These are also tests based on post 65 PUPs, when these attachments basically make/break the job. So please dont post what your puppet is doing at level 32 with the tier II attachments and say "zOMG U dunt neeed th3se attatchamenents for pUp n3wb".
Attuner - Dropped/Tested
Provides a large attack boost heavily dependant on fire maneuvers. Puts damage on VT+ mobs in the 100 dmg range for regular hits, 150+ crits, but unfortunately does not seem to affect puppet weaponskill damage (bugged?). Damage from string clipper and chimera ripper still stinks even with this attachment + 3 FMs active on VT+ mobs.
Target Marker - Dropped/Tested
Provides a large accuracy boost, not sure yet if its as dependant on maneuvers as the Attuner is. Accuracy has been tested to jump from 50-55% on VT+ to 85%.
Drum Magazine - Dropped/Tested (but not with numbers)
Speeds up the ranged attack speed of the sharpshot frame but drops its accuracy. Initially the frame will shoot one arrow every 20 seconds (not using A.D.D) and is the most accurate/damaging when it is right next to the mob. Several people have had this attachment drop, but no one has posted what the actual delay reduction is or if wind maneuvers either improve the shot speed or reduce the accuracy penalty.
Equalizer - Dropped/Not tested
Supposedly fixes the damage taken problem of the puppet against VT+ mobs. At least one person posted that they have this, but didnt do much testing other than having the puppet get hit a few times and claiming that it sucks.
Eraser - Dropped/Tested
Removes a debuff from puppet and puppetmaster, but it also strips any active maneuvers. The only thing so far it has been unable to remove is Doom. Recast time hasnt been posted anywhere, or if its an instant use ability based on having a light maneuver active with an independent timer (flashbulb).
Smoke Screen - Dropped/Tested
Trades accuracy for evasion, to the point of nearly capping eva on the puppet against most mobs. Hasnt been clarified whether or not a dark maneuver has to be active for this to take effect, or if its a static trait once the attachment is equipped.
Mioko, are you spamming 3 FMs with the Attuner on or splitting 2 FMs/1 TM? The 3rd fire maneuver is what has been pushing the damage Ive been getting into the 100 per melee/150ish crit range with VE frame. Unfortunately, as I stated above, the lousy weaponskills that it currently has dont seem to be affected by it. Clank will use String Clipper (2-hit WS modded by whatever) for 80ish then hit a series of regular melee hits over 100 each.

In exp, using Sharpshot, I keep it dispersed as 1-wind/1-fire/1-thunder and just rotating, keeping them all active... I might start just doing 2-fire/1-wind, but I'm always paranoid about overloading, which -should- be negated by Pup. Destanas + Heatsink, but I am wondering what helps ranged accuracy more against a VT exp mob, 1-lightning for Target Marker, or 1-wind for Scope.
::edit:: just a side note, when exping in Caedarva Mire, maneuvers do not mean a lot considering the constant Amnesia makes me go maneuverless or with 1-2 maneuvers for quite a while at a time.
