The only 75 PUP i know on the server is swearing by stormwaker, and has no interset whatsoever in improving it's offensive ability. He's obsessed with trying to make his HTH as good as possible and only using automaton as cure/debuff bitch. (Thus, this is the kind of guy that would likely sell an attuner)

For the record, I was saying the lv.75 PUP, who thinks 8 Hand-to-hand skill merits and maybe an Eraser attachment is the best way to gear the job, is a retard.

I wish I had your win record, I've been going by the strategy ppl have been suggesting, and harley is still giving me a hard time. I'm 2/6, 1/2 on drops. I sure hope the other 60+ on our server are having better luck (and want to sell em)...

Exactly how much of an effort is it to kill the automaton? given the trouble he's giving me, might it be a good idea to try to dispose of harley in hopes of getting a sharpshot/stormwaker?

3/6 here with 1 drop (the tactical processorlol attachment). I wish I had Mioko's luck too with drops.

The maton is rather easy to kill solo but you should have your maton whack it to for good measure. I soloed the Harlequin and killed it with 200 hp left.

It's somewhere in the middle of this 44 page thread, but I believe (never had to kill an automaton yet) that there is about a 30+ sec delay before he summons another. So cheap.

The new puppet typically gets called somewhere between 15-30 seconds after one is KO'd. To be honest, aside from how hard they hit, his puppets are weak and have crap for hp. I had to deal with 2 valoredge frames back to back last time and it wasnt nearly as hard as I thought it would be. A good raging fists dropped it to less than half, and they didnt last much longer being whomped on by myself and Clank. Save your initial tp from using a wing when you start and see what frame it calls, if its valoredge use tp on the puppet and then switch back to Fanto and wait for the next one. If its another bad frame you should have near 100 tp again so you can just repeat the process.

Btw, has anyone heard actual numbers about the Drum Magazine attachment? I know at least a few people have had it drop, but none of them have stated how much it reduces the default 20s delay between shots.

I think it was posted way back but the Drum Magazine does increase the rate of ranged attacks significantly but lowers the accuracy so much that they almost all miss.

Has it been tried in conjunction with the target marker though (and the r.acc wind attachment)? that might compensate enough to at least bring it close to the default level of acc (with manuvers)?

Just did enm#6 and another Attuner dropped, plus mulch. Wanted a Drum Magazine but there's no way in hell I'm going to complain with a 4/5 drop rate on this so far. I dont suppose anyone reading this thread is on Asura and interested in trading these yet?

Last fight:

Drew valor, killed it. Went for at least 30sec without an automaton. That's invaluable.
next summon was harley. Killed that too. yay more time with no automaton.
Next summon was stomwaker, left that.
Won, no drop. i'm 1/3 on wins dropping anything.... =\

I think it's almost worth killing the automatons as they appear no matter which one it is- as long as fanto is on your automaton when you do it.

Consider yourself lucky at least to have the 2 most worthwhile attachments. Only other one I want atm is a Drum Mag for meriting, the other ones are either gimmicky or dont work. Im due for a non-drop on the next one, that or I'll get another Attuner that no one other than shady resellers want (hi2u gilselling retards).

Are you implying that because I bought an attuner (there is even another on Fairy AH atm) thanks to being 3/7 on the ENM with one drop that I am some shady reseller? That is what I am seeing from your remark. Please elaborate.

Shady reSELLER = "Hi. I'd like to buy this rare item, eventhough I don't have PUP unlocked, in order to resell it on the AH for 2x what I paid". Within an hour of setting a seacom I was getting spammed by gilsellers/trash on our server looking to buy/flip and set their own prices for the attachments. Wasn't referring to people who buy and use the attachments, I'd like nothing more than to help out other PUPs on Asura and establish a trading ring for these. As of right now there are around 5 PUPs on Asura above 60, and only 2 above 70 (Im currently the highest @73, damn Faith Torque is holding me back atm or I'd be 75).

Okay thanks for clarifying Vyzrael. I definetely agree but alas it is going to happen. The one I bought the attuner on Fairy is named Ziozio and I have never seen him as a PUP. I have never seen him online actually. He could be a JPN PUP who got to 75 before the update and doesnt play it though. Alas, the attuner and target marker are the only 2 pieces I see this happening too (unless someone figures out what the Tactical Processor does. No clue on my end still) because they turn PUPs into somewhat fair DDs.

I also dinged 70 last night and have been parsing at least 23-25% (on IT mobs too!) every mire party with RNGs and MNKs. Serenade does around 10% of my damage and I have found the attuner to be an excellent tool in increasing her dd abilities. PUPs are going to rock in merit parties!

PS I am going to attempt the Maat PUP fight this weekend. Maybe you can get an attachment as a prize from this fight as well? I do not know anyone who has beaten it yet to confirm. Maats fight never dropped anything but then again, this isn't Maat.
