Elmer knows what he is doing >.> I am actually having the same problem, drawing hate from my Automaton at the wrong moments. However, 6 H2H merits tends to have that negative effect. I suggest you turn away for a round or two, use a Potion if needed, and wait for Strobe to be up before resuming attacking.

I would also like to add that I purchased a Turbo Charger for 1 million today (Basically the price my second Attuner sold for - the trading system works!). Thank you again Mioko and everyone else for the reliable info in helping me choose.

I did the final ToAU BC as PUP and was able to tank the Kihmaira thing pretty well. I have +42 Evasion and +17 Evasion Skill. With Raven gear and Hades Sainti I ended up with -7 enmity total, but I was still able to keep hate off Shantoto (with her -100 enmity) and the healer.

Maybe this says something about PUP, maybe it doesn't. Still, it was nice to feel useful.

So has anyone done any more tests that disprove what I suggested about Optic Fiber? I'd go test it, but I can't think of a good way to test bonuses to tiered attachments. Equalizer is easy, but how would I see if, say, both Stabilizer and Stabilizer II each got an absolute +3%.

I suppose it doesn't even need to be tiered, it could be Equalizer + some other easily testable earth attachment, if there is one.

But I have a feeling it'd sorta have to work the way I outlined, or else it wouldn't make any sense. Which means OF is pretty damn good.

To continue testing out PUP's capabilities, I tried to solo BCNM40 Undying Promise.

I went in 3 times, but was unable to beat all the skeletons in the time alloted. I thought maybe an Elvaan would be able to put out damage faster and possibly win, but it doesn't seem likely to me.

If you want to try, it's a 40seal Star Orb traded at Fei'Yin's Burning Circle. You lose only 600xp or so a fight so it's fun to give it a few tries. Good practice at least.

ANYWAY

Today, with my 75 PUP, my party got to chain 179 at the mire and we only lost the chain because the RDM healer was killed by a Jnun after Converting. Double Mineuted and Berserk gave me a 577 attack rating, with my highest DK being 711. PUP can merit with the big boys at least on T-VT mobs :D
