Attachments?

i think its a damn good idea to have it drop off solo enm:

1) something you can do on your own time
2) something other jobs cant gank from you and gouge you for as soon as they find an AH
3) god forbid some of you learn how to use a pet to keep yourself alive while taking on 2 mobs (smn solo enm taught me how to do that )
4) omg you dont get a drop when you want it, crymore. even 1 drop a month (so 1/5) is great, considering how -amazingly awesome- these items are

Perhaps we lolpups would all be less bitter about these if they implimented them from the start... then I could have been collecting these since I was lv.59~ Now it just feels like I'm working to get things I should already have by now in order to be as useful as other jobs. Either way, I do like this manner of getting crazy gears for my Automaton ("pulling the strings" how appropriate, Goblin Fantocciniman was the OG PUP) and how no one but 60~+ PUPs can be obtaining these. It's just severely frustrating and dissapointing to have your 5 days up only to get fucked in the ass by a Harlequin/Valoredge, or just not get the drop (apparently same drop rate as the other ENMs >_>). My condolences, Enitsu. Has no one else even seen/heard of a drop besides my Target Marker and that Alla kid's Drum Magazine? Any self-AH sales on your servers? (new attachments sort at the bottom above the oils)

Just seems like a potentially long time between obtaining 2 attachments just to show off 2 self-sales in one day... especially being a PUP, new attachments aren't quite something anyone else (other than PUPs) gives a damn about and hanging on to them for e-peen/gil is very un-pup @ 60+ if you know what mean.

It's possible he bought them, then listed them on the AH because there were no previous entries, i've done this before when there were no entries on the AH for some things.

I am sorry but those reasons do not justify this. As you have seen from the screenshots posted, these items make PUP a heck of a lot more reliable on mobs at higher levels and thus, able to function in a solid HNM LS. As for you list:

1) Something you can do yourself...every five days...So if you lose a run or get nothing, you sit back and wait 5 days before you get again. Yes, many PUPs serious about using their job to help their lses will just sit around and do nothing during that time.

2) Every job has this problem. It is expected at high levels. I rather it drop off a NM anyway. It would give incentive to camp (and really, who would camp a mob that dropped only these attachments. The market would at least be stable if not small)

3) You need to try this ENM to understand. You can resummon your avatar quickly if it dies. You must wait 20 mins to resummon your maton. Plus, a H2H mob hits a heck of a lot harder than a SMN mob.

4) By that logic, we have to wait 8 months to get the items that will help a PUP work well in a LS. Not all PUPS have lvl 75 jobs to fall back on.

5 days + shit drop rate makes it a terrible idea, anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron.

Other jobs don't NEED this ENM like PUP do, other jobs do it for a quick buffer or for fun/epeen item they can do without.

How would you feel if your ALL your 60/70+Avatar BPs came from this ENM that had a shit drop rate and (seems) difficult?

I think the only real problem from this is the horrible drop rate, which is a problem in the whole game (it's like SE's attempt at making people gambling addicts)..
They could have given it as a choice type reward, like summoner fights, or at least a 100% drop on those so at least you could trade it every time with other PUPs if it wasn't the one you needed.
Each job has its painful sides though, monk has black belt for example, they could have made at least the KS99 be 100% drop on those.
And people could complain either way, some people like rare items as a way to make them different from other players or more unique, the only problem is that it's still based on luck which is retarded.
I am guessing they will pop up on AH eventually, and even go down in price after a while, and once you get yours it will be a way for PUPs to make some extra gil and xp each week..

SE could fix it just by adjusting the drop rates, but they probably won't, on purpose, to keep them rare and valuable whatever that means and keep people ptrying and playing (i don't agree with this, I am just saying that's probably what they are thinking).
If they were going to fix this they would have fixed a lot of other things like hNMs and abjurations.

blame the people that leveled to 75 in like 2 weeks.SE probally doesnt want every pup getting every attachment it also discourages people from just buying and using these attachments on a lvl 1 pup lol

'cept Harlequin frame doesn't have enough elemental power to make it strong from the get go. Besides, the scale attachments from lvl 30+ would make PUP amazing DD and not get shafted, by doing this they aren't exactly encouraging people to lvl PUP, had the attachments been easier to get I bet more people would lvl PUP.
