Someone in LS said there was a rumor floating around that it boosted Double Attack rate, so I ate one of the two I had on me. Colibiri ate it within like 15 seconds though so never actually got to parse any numbers.

That sounds like a pretty fucking stupid move, trying to test food effects when fighting a Colibri.

That would be cool if the food the Colibiris eat give them the stats from the food. It could be a pretty good strategy to eat crappy food on purpose to weaken them.

Yes there does, and he has a special move called Fruit Loops that shoot giant colored rings at you. The damage output is dependent on your level of Colibiri hate.

Tucan Sam will reflect Physical and Weaponskill Damage as well, until someone in your alliance uses a Goblin Drink and he Snatch Morsels it.
