So how do I get my stuff back?

There is a way to get them back. You need to talk to an npc that will reset you quest. The npc is in Jeuno but its been so long since I have used him that i forget his name and were he is located. I used him when i through away some old af before se desided to make af+1. Talk to the npc and then do some things for him and he resets the quest.

Which is useful if you want to get AF back... not so useful for any items that actually matter.

About two and a half months ago, I took it upon myself to quit the game and make sure I never come back.

i like how people are such attention whores when they quit the game. to quit the game, you can't just delete your character. first you have to tell everyone about it-not just your linkshell and people on your friendlist. you have to tell your entire server in a goodbye thread in the appropriate forum. you have to drop every single rare/ex item, more worthless items than priceless items, and take a screenshot of it. then you start handing out non-ex gear to people you know but aren't really your friends. they say they'll hold it for you in case you decide to come back but you say they can do whatever they want with it because it's theirs now. now you come back looking like a dumbfuck cause they sold all your gear and you can't get your rare/ex items back.

2 Attestations thrown out = wtf. I recall someone throwing out all their equipment on Atomos during Ballista Royale as well, but it was a ballista account so nothing was permanant. If i ever quit the game for good, i'd just sell all the equipment i could to a vendor (shadow mantle goes for 33,000ish to NPC).

Slicing *across* your wrists is like throwing away all your r/ex gear and SSing it. If you want to do it right you go vertical (or delete your character, restore, and delete it again).

To the OP, there are two reasons a person tosses all their r/ex gear. One is so they don't come back to the game again, the other is for attention. Just ask yourself which one is you, and I'm sure the answer to what you should do will come to you.

Lueadil = Attention..... "hacked" himself...then 2 months later hacked someone else in our LS and got them banned... needless to say we had someone call GM on him everytime he hacked... now that lying Attention whore is gone.

Regardless, the only things I can't get back are Suppa and Rajas... so I guess I could level a mage job and not much would change, my War would go dual axes, Suppa sucks on thf now anyway. Rajas will be missed, but I've lived without it before and I can live without it again.
