With that kind of reasoning, you should go level dragoon and wait for them to make the job the most superior melee class in the game. Although, I guess you need to rationalize out the gil paid on the horn that has probably dropped in price now.

It's dropped in price now and I'm not desperate for gil. The more annoying part is that now I have one less inventory slot. It does save me like 4 seconds on the run from mea -> bub.pen. outpost though. Of course the same money would have gotten me about 1000 chocobos for the same run.

I was thinking more along the lines of justifying the inclusion of a DRG in your party, but we can use your example if you like.

If someone is even in the same league as sweets for damage-output they're already better than 90% of the end-game melees.

My justification for inviting a drg would be
1.) She's my friend
2.) She can make it to a camp further than right by a staging point without getting agro and dying, which is more than half the 75s on my server.

As far as dmg is concerned, we were close to neck and neck, which says absolutely nothing unless you know the support jobs, individual job gear, job merits, and camp involved. Life beyond Deco weapons has done the Ridill warriors no favors.

Yes... you also can't zone in as you die >.> Tried this with my death porting home mule a few times. I so wanted a screenshot of my dead galka in his mog. Guess I should have brought him to Al Zhabi.

I've only tried this once, I was cursed just after finishing a Key run for Eldiene- I warped back to jeuno and I entered moghouse, the status wasn't cured, I switched to whm, exited and cast cursna on myself. I don't know if thats been fixed recently, this was like over 2 years ago.
