The top 20. Sure there are exceptions (lolmarcatil) but I would say the people that comprise such a large amount of posts on this board are the ones not writing 1-liner ZAM just to post count+1.

Certain leeway is given to top five posters as well as intelligent posters who provide significant knowledge to the community (Rukenshin being prime example).

High post count is probably not a good way to decide who can spam one-liners and such, since not all the people with high post counts got so high just with informative and useful posts. Unfortunately it takes much less effort to raise your post count with clutter useless posts.. quality should come over quantity and clutter.

I think it would be better to delete/ lock a post earlier if it's really bad than have so many people just write pages and pages about how the topic is bad or how they don't like someone or another.

But yeah i like the general idea Septimus.

And just because a person thinks their posts are informative doesn't make them so. Actually sometimes it just goes to prove they steal Osodes and jack Haidates before jumping LSs!

I think this is a good (and necessary) change. I hated seeing someone post a meaningful thread, or ask a legitimate question only to have someone with under 10 posts respond with "zam". It serves no other point other than derailing otherwise potentially worthwhile threads.

In all seriousness, I have been trolling these threads since their inception and posting for over a year now but my post count is so god awfully low because I don't get the jollies from meaningless posts and I find serious posts to be too tedious to construct. leh /sigh
