I duoed the NM as a BLM/WHM with a RDM/DRK, after it had just finished killing a NIN who soloed it to 80%. Sleep doesn't work, obviously, but Bind and Gravity work wonderfully.

I'm omw to Nashmau to try the NM for mission 13, do you think two BLM could duo it? Apologies if I've skipped the answer.

Most of the people I saw line up as duos wiped because they took too long to kill him and got a skeleton add at night. Take a group with you, it's not a hard fight with 4-5.

edit: As for hp, he probably has around 20kish, maybe more (wasn't paying too close attention to the log), so it'll take considerable kiting and refresh to get him all the way down with magic damage only.

Had like 5-6K hp
This NM is sorota strange I watched it through chat log attack others, and it did msot damage to a PLD (that acc down attack did near 900) and hit'em about 180~290 (keong, earth/terra staff, verm cloak)
I dunno if its power is baed on Hp/or target def or what, I did a trio nin/war blu/nin(me) drg/whm only I got hit by the acc down thing around 50% broke stoneskin and did like 170 damage...

So you'd say 2 BLM would be fine?

Just throw DoT on it and keep up refresh(af2 body or cloak+sanction should do the trick), throw tier 1's sparringly depending on mp and you should be alright. It'll take a while though. Bind is pretty easy to stick

I tanked it as thf/nin. Didnt hit me a single time without using any eva gear. Had a mnk/nin and rdm healing. I think all the rdm did was erase and haste. Opened up with asuran>shark bite and I had hate the whole time. Not sure how much dmg his tp moves do because he never got one through shadows, just alot of missga. Pretty too weak IMO.

The BC was the same. Couldnt find anyone in my ls so we picked up 3 random people. Failed horde lully at the start so we just had the bard kite while we picked em off one at a time. When the other 4 poped we started to fight one then zerged the captain. Not sure what was going on during that. But we asuran > shark bite to get me hate from the start (shark did around 1k not sure what asuran did) and that knocked him down to around 80% right away. The mnk hundred fisted and it lasted like 30 sec tops after that. Nobody was even close to dieing. THink the brd got in yelow at the very beginning while figureing out how to kite the initial set.

Very anti climatic and pretty easy even with random people.

I was getting a lot of 0s with 480ish def -30% damage and phalanx.

Wow. Had to quote this. It's the first time I've seen FFXIFlux post that didn't lambast S-E, game mechanics, RMT, players, or other forum readers. All right! Flux is finally enjoying the game a little!

That BC is fun. Went in with random people from along the way, BLM/BLM/WHM/SMN/SMN/RNG, having no tank/melee other than the Yag made it interesting, I ended up tanking most of it, good stuff. :D

I have to admit that BCNM was a lot of fun :D Felt good to do something with less than a full PT too, but I really would of preferred more than a day's worth of story missions

I remember when ToA's release date was annouced, everyone rushed to make statics so they wouldn't play catch up like CoP >_>; Then there's no real missions, just Assault
