Mijin Gakure damage and how to boost it

Been NIN75 for a while now and one of the most fun I have on HNMs is just going up and blowing up in its face for (hopefully) massive damage. I was wondering two things: what's your best mijin on an endgame mob and how do you maximize that damage?

HP seems an obvious factor in increasing it but I've heard people say everything from MAB to having berserk up helps max out the damage. What has everyone's experience been?

I think the trick is to Mijin while being the only person engaged on kited mobs where lots of people are trying to steal the claim. King Behemoth would be a great choice.

Also make sure to do it just when it hits 1% so you won't quite kill it.

I read a thread on KI NIN forum where they discussed this a few months back, a couple of them said it's boosted by INT gear. Of course, several others said they were morons. Can't hurt to try right?

For all intents and purposes I think the only 2 things that boost it are HP and resists.

Try subbing BRD or BST for that extra stat boost.

Would have been nice if they had allowed players to do as NM Beastmen Ninjas do. What I mean to say, is allow them to use Mijin Gakure, then continue fighting~

But this defeats the purpose of Mijin Gakure, as defined by the text that describes it, in the game... so meh... failed post...

I'm pretty sure, that as long as it's not resisted, Mijin is about 75% of your max HP.

Wouldnt be hard to test.

Ronfaure --> mijin --> /beg corsair friend --> moldavite earring --> mijin.

Might work too in ballista against a lv1, but it might have been nerfed like everything.

I did a 1315 on Kirin (not full HP), and a 1275 on Jormungand (again not full HP and no INT gear on). . . At one point I though Hate had something to do with it (as I had most hate the the mobs at the time) . . . NOt sure though to be honest

I too think it's current HP and resists, nothing else.

I'm quite surprised people like Studio Gobli have never tested Mijin Gakure extensively.
