988 is pretty damn high with ridill. I got 1000 a couple of time with axe/axe, but sword gimp my dmg a lot.

What was the setup you had to get this?

1. Determine the mob's weakness.
2. Gauge the mob's resist levels.
3. Examine the weather.
4. Cast Thunder IV.

When my war was in its prime
(speed belt/adaman/triumphs blah blah)
It took red curry and maxed Axe skill+ to avg at 1.1k, and that was with a brd that knew we were trying to raise our avg ws's *He made sure Minuetx2 was always up and had the rdm pull*

3. Beat a Ridill WAR once in xp when the Ridill WAR had no merits and was using meat mithkabobs, so Ridill totally sucks.
4. Feel a need to justify their WAR not being as good as the next one because they have to be the best at everything.

I wouldn't invite a non-Ridill WAR to xp because then I might have to get a COR, and both are gimp. Ridill WARx3, BRDx2, RDM only prz thx.

1) There is more ridill war in this thread than non ridill war.
2) Axe ridill isnt shit for the simple reason it make war the best dd on 3/4 of the hnm in game. G.axe merit is indeed shit.
3) No sane ridill war wouldnt cap sword as fast as they can. Difference between a ridill war and axe war capped is about 10%-15% dmg difference in xp.
4) This game is all about e-penis. Live with it.

About interupt rate down, it's probably not as bad as it sound. Crit hit up first obviously, but having ichi not interupted 8% of the time might end up being more useful than crit down by 4%. Well, probably not if you're war only, but when you have multiple job like blm, it could be an interesting alternative.

I use the except same gear setup, minus amemet+1 (forager) and unicorn boot (no n.feets).

What's the difference between mithra and elvaan? +8 str and -12 dex?
