    I think we have 5 or 6 RDM with full AF2 now. We've not seen many BLM body until recently, not sure how many BLM we have with full AF. Note WHM gloves, we have 1 WHM with full AF (I have the other hands, but haven't cared enough about body to get it for full set, 3 fucking body peices is already too much thank you.) BST hands/feet... fuck you SE.

    This is why I kinda enjoy just doing a small private Dynamis. We run Xarca weekly, then one random farming.

    Xarca has been pretty nice to us so far, in 2 runs we've gotten BLM, RDM, BST, WHM, lolDRG

    I'd love to get into CoP Dynamis, just so we could unlock Tavnazia for Friday nights, but 18manning anything but Buburumu is just insane...

    It would make sense to put new AF2 items in the cities and northlands areas. Consider that a lot of people still want AF2 from those areas. Moving those new jobs to zones like.. Dynamis-Qufim/Valkurm, etc would only shaft all of those people that go to countless dynamis runs waiting for some piece of gear to drop which rarely does.

    Also consider that most Dynamis LSs have more than 36 people, making those newer dynamis zones a hassle to even try and do, since people are forced to get left out. Tack on the less currency gained in those areas... but I digress.

    It makes perfect sense to have one of their developers sit down and either revamp a few mobs in the old cities/Northlands to reflect the new jobs, add drops in the same way they are currently done, add a new "platform" with Duke XXXX Marquis YYYY Prince ZZZZ with possible a 15min extension with them...

    Perfect sense. Hence why these new AF2 items will not drop in current dynamis areas.

    those jobs did not participate in the great war, it doesnt fit into the story to have any jobs in the current dynamis.

    However

    there is one link between Aht Urghan and the Shadow Lord, those were the imps, he used them as spies.
    Untill we get the story to link them together, there wont be AF2 for them in the current dynamis zones.

    When I first read about Imps I figured Imps would "summon" Demons when they used their horn >_>

    /random I thought it implied that it would aggro any mobs in the vicinity with the horn. :/

    I'm pretty sure it's going to end up being 3x zones -> 1x zone similar to CoP with hopefully a cap larger than 36...

    They already know Xarc is very crowded, so adding new af2 there would be pretty retarded. It should also be apparent to even them that tav was a huge failure despite constant fan emails from first names + animals @gmail.

    Al Zahbi only closed itself to the outside world when the war begun. Wouldn't it be possible, for story purposes, for someone to have gone to Al Zahbi, become a Corsair and such, and returned? Mind you, I haven't gotten a Glacier or Xarc clear yet, but I can't imagine a snippet of story where they say every member of Hydra Corps was one of 15 jobs and no more, or that they forbid external teachings, or whatever.

    And as was said... Imagine the new AFv2 being in CoP Dynamis, and you pretty much see why it needs to be in the old areas (or in new areas where the timer is independant of current Dynamis timers).

    Freelotted Surcoats make me cry when I've been running a shell which does Xarcabard regularly for over a year & don't have one.

    I'll trade Smn Horns for them, seeing as we got 3 of those our last Xarc.
    You have yourself a deal; 1 year anniversary of my shell (11 xarcabards) and we only have 2 horns (and 2 petasos) compared to 7 or 8 surcoats ><
    Surcoats are common place in my LS. Even the leveling taru PLDs have em. NIN tekkos.. Yah we get one almost every single run. At least we got a lot of nins but half of them have it already

    I hope the three new jobs are not connected to RoZ, why? because after having done all the RoZ dyanmis countless times it has become boring. Also, CoP dynamis is donkey crap.

    I know it would be stupid to release dynamis zones that would only drop AF for the new jobs, but some kind of new, dynamis-like, endgame venue would be a refreshing experience compared to the same old RoZ dynamis (as long as they don't make it like CoP dynamis, mighty Yin please don't let them make it like CoP dynamis).

    I dont mind if they made it like CoP dynamis, so long as :

    -Add time extensions
    -Dont do the SJ shit, cute factor wears off after the first time
    -Remove Randomness. If you have the strat and correct jobs, you should win.
    -Make "I O U" cards where you can exchange them for any AF that normally drops in the zone :D

    Nah, 3.30mins is fine, usually you can still farm with a small group when a large majority leave, I do it all the time. I would like for them to at least keep the options open. 2h is very short for my LS, we love to milk the zone.

    If I were king of SE, I would cut the time to 2 hours, reduce the number of mobs by one half, and double the drop rate for Zilart Dynamis zones. 3.5 hours in Dynamis is boring and kills your whole night. Part of the reason that Limbus is so awesome is because you can actually do stuff after the event is over. (Oh yeah, I would also issue an apology for CoP Dynamis.)

    But really, if you got rid of points 1, 2, and 3 it would not be CoP Dynamis at all. It's like saying "I wouldn't mind jumping out of a plane without a parachute if it weren't for the falling and smashing into the ground". CoP Dynamis wouldn't exist if you got rid of the gimmicks and bugs.
